Reflections of Earth improvements including new lasers

So truth be told, I really like the new version of the Peace on Earth finale. New island lasers add a lot to the show. Pyro I feel has indeed been cut in quantity (I could be wrong, but looked like less racks on the barges) but absolutely not quality.

My only criticism is how rushed and crowded the countries being called out was...Just sounded spastic with the international voices and the voice of the narrator. Could have done without her saying which country was being represented; I thought the lighting did a good job of that in years past.

I was surprised to hear shells launch as early in the show as I did and knew we were in for some changes. My fear of a lot of cutting never happened, as the show still felt very full and there were no dead spots. Finale of the finale, just wow. Your usual incredible wall of sound (maybe a little less), but visually looks like they were blowing up the lagoon. LOL

The addition of the island lasers also have added a lot to the show.

Overall, nice, nice change. Well done...

Another angle, from I think the bridge between France and the UK.

I believe this is actually from the meet and greet area next to the champagne booth b/w France and Morocco. One of my few go-to spots during the holiday show as it usually shows the lasers well and isn't reserved for CP holders.

New lasers looking good :)

Remembering most cameras darken the image on automatic too.... and they're still being tweaked and plussed....

And they're a permenant fixture for the whole show for the foreseeable future.
I've just uploaded a slightly over-exposed version. It blows out the pyro a bit, but gives a bit more of a look at the lasers.

We shot this on manual exposure, it looks very close to in-person.

Looks like the AA laser terminated early, didn't it? It went out right after Chaos... but came back for Adventure?

And LOL at Japan's pagoda staying lit for the entire show. Poor thing is glitchy.

Pity. That AA laser kept cutting in and out. And the Japan pagoda still on the fritz.

Still, work out those little glitches and keep on tweaking and things will look pretty spectacular. Reflections of Earth certainly needed some upgrades and its wonderful to see it get them. Its almost like a new show again with all the little tweaks they've done.

Any idea if the fountains will be getting more attention? Apart from some new lighting cues, they haven't changed much. Any chance for some new nozzles/spray patterns, or even LED lighting upgrades?

How hard would it be to get some WOC-esque fountain grids on barges...?

Just asking... hahaha

Also, is Disney ever going to publicize this? They would do well to recognize that RoE is being refreshed.

Those lasers are darn impressive, and the new pyro is pretty good as well.

One nit pick - no recognition of France for some reason during the languages section.

It's actually from between Morocco and France, I had never watched it from back that way till last night.

Was at the parks this past week, sadly left prior to the holiday tag running, but the lasers I did see were so obviously improved from last year when I was there. Very pleased with that. Also, happy to see through the holiday tag videos that the whisters are at least being used there.

Really like the overall sound and pyro, but I'm a bit old fashioned at times and will miss Chronkite and the old chorus.

Also must be weird to hear screamers in the show after all this time without them. Are those not considered environmentally unsafe?? If they're not, throw them in the actual show!!!!!!!!!

As much as I would love to see this too I think it would be a huge problem ... WOC, even though its in a decent size body of water is filtered and chlorinated where as World Showcase Lagoon is largely runoff water and connects to Crescent Lake so the fountains are constantly sucking up gunk and having to be cleaned out.
