Certainly we are a democratic republic, but I've been alive a pretty long time and this is one of, if not the first time, I've heard someone refer to our form of government like that purposefully. I consider it more of a Freudian slip, but that's just my interpretation.

When did we as a society stop following rules? Seems that we question authority at every turn and don't see honor in fulfilling our part of agreements we enter into, kind of rules for thee but not for mee mentality?
Nope it has value if people can just......Yeah, a discussion that always seems to escalate into a political ing match before the mods shut it down. Let us make a compromise. How about they lock the thread so that no more responses can be posted? Does this work for you?
