i was getting of figments innovations ride today and to the left i see Mike Lowell taking pictures with some redsox fans!! And i say hey Mike thanks for this year and thank him for his great work shake his hand. And say you got to resign with the redsox! and mike says i hope so! mike was with his little boy and i didnt see his wife or his other kids. but it made my day to actual meet him i never thought id run into and i bet hes going to mgm or animal kingdom tomm. if anyones going. Go Redsox!! Resignn Lowell!:sohappy: and redsox nation was in full force tonight at Epcot everywhere!!

He was the Grand Marshall of the afternoon parade at MK on Friday. I caught a glimpse of him ride by, but I was busy shopping for Christmas ornaments and didn't pay too much attention.

He is awesome. I am glad you got to meet him. He is also a FIU alumni (where I go to college) and we are so proud of him.

I'm glad Mike Lowell is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Then again, when you're with the Marlins, you're lucky if you get a mention :rolleyes:

Not sure why you're booing Beckett. It looks like Lowell is gonna resign for 3/$37.5 mil - I'm glad to see him back.

This isn't a baseball message board, so I'll make this my last contribution to the thread. Red Sox fans are no longer shaky. I wasn't sure what it would be like after 2004, but there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to win in 2007. No sense of uneasiness or 86 years of torture. It was weird, but we're back to being a normal team again. Unfortunately, our fan base is quickly turning into a clone of the Yankees fan base.

Anyways, I'm glad Lowell is back on board for reasonable money (as I posted earlier). I'm glad that we have a deep pitching staff, and that the only off season question remaining is what will we get for Coco Crisp.

Beckett...was never the apple of my eye as a Marlin. When he won MVP in '03, he just got worse for me. He is the complete opposite of Lowell, who is a true baseball player and a great guy to boot...Beckett was never nice :)

I've caught Beckett when he had a good day or two. He was never mean to us. Now, AJ Burnett, he's not very nice.

Anyway, this is about Mikey. He's an awesome person. I admire him tons.
