The Orange Bird was a walkaround character in Adventureland in the early 70s. He even had his own animatronic in a tree (for a short while) and a theme song (which was put on record). =

Grizz, I rember the walkaround characer but not the animatronic or song. Where was the animatroic located? At the Sunshine Tree Terrace?

Grizz, I rember the walkaround characer but not the animatronic or song. Where was the animatroic located? At the Sunshine Tree Terrace?

I just did a little dirty research, and found out that a small Orange Bird sculpture (I guess not an AA) rested on the Sunshine Tree (which the bar is named after). Wish I had photos!
