Ratatouille Roller Coaster

While it makes sense that a Ratatouille attraction would come to MGM, I would take Yee's article with a grain of salt. It seems he commonly reprints things he finds on internet forums (that doesn't mean they aren't true, I just question whether he has his own sources). Hopefully something along the lines of the Crush Coaster comes to MGM, though.

(getting wicked lazy/greedy)

Where is that in relation to TSM (to the left of, the right of, etc) Does someone have a map?

To the left facing TSM. It is where they were selling Star Wars stuff during SWWs. I believe that building is empty. Anyone know for sure?

I would like to see a multiple themed pixar type ride. Like incoprorate Cars, Rat, and Incredibles all into one ride somehow. I roller coaster would be cool but is there a bette opportunity than this to top spider-man 3d at universal? I think this Pixar theme is a great chance to make a 3-d type coaster/simulation. Kids love the 3-d and even moms will go on them. If they are indeed doing a coaster is it going to be a legit coaster or a barnstormer type dissapointment?

with its fast pace, many frantic points, and perfect soundtrack from Michael Giacchino, this was just asking to become a thrill ride. Frankly, I'm enthralled.

If it were to happen, it would most likely be in the area where the Backlot Tour is now. There's a strong rumor that it will be removed sometime next year.

Maybe they could incorporate air jets in the coaster seats that make it feel like rats are running over your feet - sort of like in HISTA

Pixar in MGM is fine by me. Just get it out of Epcot. ;)
I wouldn't mind it being stripped from Tomorrowland as well...Don't get me wrong, I am ALL in favor of Pixar incorporated into the parks because Pixar IS Disney...I just think that if they will have a segment of MGM dubbed Pixar Place then sure nuff, you should make it just that.

I agree with the *quality* of the Nemo job, Its just kind of random in Epcot. Kind of like the Disney Princess brunch/buffet thing in Norway.
I agree it's perhaps a forced-fit for the pavilion, but I don't really have a problem with it because it remains futuristic and it connects better with kids...plus I just find it to be a nice attraction. They should add some dialogue like they have at Disneyland about using new technology to hear the fish speak, though. Then it would fit much better, and all that's required is 10 seconds of dialogue.

That is a really solid idea, and would definitely tie it in quite a bit better with the park. But maybe instead of talking about a new technology to hear the fish speak, a new technology to locate the fish (I know devices that locate fish have existed for years now, I'm talking something more advanced). After all, EPCOT is supposed to be about possible future technologies. Unless they had the speaking dialogue about how fish communicate as opposed to speak (this presumes fish communicate--having little to no knowledge of oceanology and marine life, I have no idea if fish communicate, or if it's speculated that they communicate).
