Rapunzel's tower has arrived.

nope, because FJ target audience is harry Potter fans, which are genrally between the ages of 10 and up
LM target audience is little girls who love Little mermaid and all things Ariel.
Which is but one reason why, despite Mermaid's higher price tag, FJ is the superior attraction.
was refering to the way its Projected screen images against a simulation, while Spider Man uses an actual moving car, Potter is more so stationary
Potter? More stationary than Spidey? How so?

just my honest opinion really. felt more like soaring. however, my favorite attraction at Universal is Posiedons fury, i just love the feel of it. 2nd being ripsaw falls, lol

Now I will be honest, I do feel that with the high price tag on Mermaid, the ending of the ride should have been enhanced. however i do feel that they toned down ursulas death for childrens sake

so what is the truth. I know 4 year olds who would want to spend more time in suess landing then WWOFHP
Sure there would be 4 year olds who would want to be in Seuss more than HP. There are also 4 year olds that I know who would much prefer HP to Seuss. My point is that you made way too big of a generalization. I know parents who've chosen to read the first few HP books (not all of them as obviously they get darker as they go along) as a bed time story to their young kids. And said kids have loved them. The HP books are full of magic and fun and whimsy, especially that first one. And many children younger than 10 have yet again seen the first few movies at least... including those little girls who love Ariel. Not a crime and not impossible to like both. I just can't put any stock into your claim that HP fans are only "generally 10 and up." It's way too broad an assumption. It's like saying only girls like Disney. (I know that's not what your claiming. Just an example I've definitely heard. That is Disney is just "girly" and not for boys)

I feel like people give children way too little credit in what they can handle. And many children have sat through Little Mermaid, and I don't see them traumatized by it as far as I can tell. I think they could have definitely enhanced the stupid cheap cardboard cut out in a way that wasn't scary. It's sort of funny. I was watching this video last night. Shows you how violent Disney really can be ;):

FJ has far more physical motion then Spiderman. A lot of people don't seem to like Poseidon's Fury but I thought it was a very cool attraction. When they first started talking about WWoHP I half expected them to re-theme it to HP.

Stationary?

So you haven't ridden Forbidden Journey. If you had you'd know how much the KUKAs throw you around, as you constantly move on a track based vehicle.

And for the record (again) I'm not really a Potter (the movies) fan.

When comparing WWoHP to FLE my gut reaction has been that WWoHP is a better land then FLE and there are a good number of people here who have said the same. But when I think more logically about it I can't put my finger on why I feel that way.

Probably because most if the new fl areas are open ended place making while hp areas are physical locations you've had some reference and you actually 'enter'. The closest aspect of this in nfl is belles. But it's not an exciting or intriguing location. It certainly looks like BoG is better than three broomsticks and gastons is probably a wash with the bar in hp. But the rest of the area .. Hp is far more intriguing and 'exotic'

I'm really happy that they put the tower there. This was the only thing missing at the New Fantasyland. Even though this isn't part of the expansion. :p I HOPE that they do the artwork on the ground. I think they will though.

I do agree that the tower being near THM is awkward looking.

Forbidden Journey is more like Soarin? FJ throws you around, nearly flipping you upside down at one point. And moves you through various sets...

You've mentioned FJ is more stationary than Spidey and said it's like Soarin'.

Have you ridden FJ?

The Speedway just makes no sense as part of "Tomorrowland" since there's nothing "tomorrow" about driving around in gas-powered cars that make a lot of fumes.

I am no fan of the Speedway and would be fine with it disappearing and be replaced with other/better attractions.

That said, having recently seen Wreck It Ralph (which was great!), I'd be wholeheartedly behind a re-theming of the Speedway to Sugar Rush, making all the vehicles out of candy (and hopefully electrofying them at the same time) but keeping the same general layout. Then they could put the Sugar Rush Speedway into Fantasyland, where it would be a reasonable thematic fit, certainly better than currently.

I would guess that the answer to your question is a resounding no...
I am sorry, I actually have a life and my day is not planned around responding to critism on forums about a bathroom that really has no effect on peoples lives, outside of it being in a theme park.

with that said, YES i have been on FJ I am sorry I was not Impressed, GOD Help me. My favorite attraction in orlando is tower of terror, which to some is a lame freefall drop, like Dooms.

I just figured the harry potter ride was more involved. I have been on similar rides before. I was bored.

and when I said Stationary, I didnt mean you were not moving, I mean the screen in fron of you was.
