Also I didn't dare ride TOT until I was 14 years old! Got as far as the front of the fastpass queue and bottled it up until then!

That's me. I always let someone else sit on the end where the alien was standing by the wall on the right side of the vehicle.

I was 15 the first time I ever set foot at Disney, but my 11-year-old is terrified of TOT (we asked him to try it once, won't ever ask him again), and Haunted Mansion (he has a thing against spiders, so he won't go near it).

you should let him know that haunted mansion has 0 spiders (or at least, I think it has 0 anyways)

I've tried. It's one of my favoritest WDW rides, but he still won't come on with me.

Alien in GMR, Mr Toad, Snow White and I refused to do Splash Mountain because I was convinced you went underwater with sharks and pihranas and alligators.
