Hi Freddy!
Any news on your possible DL trip?
Hi!!
Okay...this is getting scary.
I literally JUST was on Continental's website looking at flights. :lookaroun
No news yet...and it's still in the "maybe" stages - my mom has to buy a new car (not necessarily NEW, but new to her). So, we'll see what happens about Cali.
There is still a chance that we'll get out there. But I don't know for sure yet.

Hi Freddy. And thanks.
I can already walk on it again, but it took a few hours.
I put ice on it and that helped the swelling a lot.
No prob. :)
I'm glad that it's starting to feel better. Stings are never any fun.
I've only been stung once (*knocks on wood*) and it was on my thumb and it hurt sooooo bad.

Did you get the stinger out?

Yes, but not until I hobbled all the way home.
Lauren was with me and I just wanted to get home. As soon as I got here, I stuck my foot under the bathtub faucet and got the stinger out. Oy. I felt feverish for a couple of hours, but as soon as the throbbing stopped, I started feeling better and now I'm fine.

Dot might know this already but you always get the stinger out right away. Keeping the stinger in keeps pumping poison into you.

That was a FYI.

Honey Bees do the same.

I just looked at some google images...
I'm pretty sure it was a hornet.

Okay, all this talk of bee stings is making my toe hurt!

I was in my 30s when I was stung for the first time. Before that, I was always so scared of it, because I really didn't know what to expect. That first sting wasn't so bad. Neither was the second time. But this one...yikes.

Probably because it was in a weird area.
But I'm glad to hear they aren't too bad. :dazzle:

I've been stung dozens of times, but hornet stings are the worst. My oldest brother almost died from one.
