Actually, I was being generic. I'm not sure it was a bee. It could have been a wasp or a yellow jacket. I remember a brownish coloring. It was in the grass and I was wearing slides. It got the bottom of my foot and would not let go! I've been stung before, but not like this time!

I can already walk on it again, but it took a few hours.
I put ice on it and that helped the swelling a lot.
