Yeah I will have to agree with you there. I not going to spend $30.00 more for a bunch of scenery and ride improvements. I want to see flat rides too.

As for the 50 new rides: that doesn't necessarily mean there are 50 completely new rides. Notice that anywhere that is mentioned it says 50 new ride TYPES, meaning that the new polar bear cars are one of the 50 new ride types.

No, unfortunately there haven't been any new screenshots released just yet; however, as soon as I find some more I will be sure to post them here!

Also, my biggest source for information closed its doors a couple of days ago. Its sad to see a website I visited so much close. Hopefully WDWMagic will never do that.

Honestly...I'm not buying the addon if I don't see a substantial increase in RIDES, not SCENERY.

All these addons just make the game more and more rediculous and unrealisitc....i have yet to see a theme park with a REAL LIFE SIZED mayan temple in the middle...

They just keep adding more and more CRAP! This DOES make it very unrealistic.

They need to add stuff they haven't thought of before: new flat rides, fireworks, automated fountains, shows, sit down restaurants, night time.

SOMETHING!!!!
I'm still not convinced to spend another $30 to buy this if it just going to be a bunch of scenery.

On the upside though....we'd probably be able to recreate World Showcase...

I agree about the stupid scenery, it needs something better like better views and better building support. I hate how they took out the boosters on most of the coasters. I did see some new thing in the screenshots which looked like polar bear cars which are really stupid. Some of the stuff would work good for the World Showcase though.

BIG thanks for the people posting in Danimation for this info. Also note I saw a download for the game and its only 58 megs which is really nothing compared to what a cd can hold.

As for what I think: I don't care about stuff from around the world. Some of the scenery looks cool, but its nothing really. I could also care less about the rides in the addon.

Its official...I can't deny the truth...this will be the first time I do not buy and addon/game that deals with RollerCoaster Tycoon...I can't believe it...they have finally gotten SO BAD that I'm actually not going to buy the addon (which by the way is out now).

This is a sad day in amusement park history...


RIP RollerCoaster Tycoon...You were fun while you were original.

I have the add on now, but haven't played it yet. I hope it isn't as bad as it sounds. On the upside for me....My DD loves it, so she's getting a lot of use out of it. I'll let you all know what I think when I get into it a bit.

If it goes on sale, will you still not buy it?

Did they give you a hard time about taking it back? Or had you opened it yet?

I still haven't played it yet. I haven't played any video games in awhile. I had thought about buying the Zoo Tycoon for DD also, and buying the dinosaur add on pack because she's crazy about dinosaurs. Does anyone know anything about this? Remember, she's 9, so it doesn't take too much too impress her. Just as long as it's not very difficult.
