Question about MNSSHP.

Hello friends....

The wife and I and another couple are planning on attending our first MNSSHP this October. The wife and I are really looking forward to it. Our friends are too. They want to dress up and even go trick-or-treating in the park. My wife thinks this would be fun and wants to join in as well. Here is my question: Is it common for a 38 year old couple with no children to dress up and go trick-or-treating? Since we have never attended before, I was just wondering if our fellow guests would think we are nuts. If you could chime in with your opinions please, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks everyone!

very normal...the group I go with is only 20-23 in age but we have no kids and get fully dressed up and usually bring pillow cases for candy. We get so many complements on the level of detail of our homemade costumes! Have fun with it!

HI! I am 36 and DH is 45 and have no children. We did it and we will do it again!!! Go! Do! enjoy! :sohappy:

My husband and I did it when we went in October 2007 and we had no kids at the time. We were travelling with children, but we didn't trick or treat with them. It was a great deal of fun! Enjoy your trip!

My wife and I went, we were undecided about dressing up and trick or treating. Now I wish I would have, I feel like I missed out on part of the party.

Next time I want to do two night of the party, one for the trick or treating and all the different events they have going on. The other night would be taking advantage of the lack of wait for the attractions.

But either way its a lot of fun, so I am sure you will enjoy your time whatever you decide to do.

You can get into MK as early as 4 pm with a MNSSHP ticket. I would do as many attractions as you can between 4 and 7 which will leave much more time for the Halloween events. The only attraction that you must go on during MNSSHP is HM. (It is like a Florida state law or something:D)

Like others have said, lots of adults do it! My group this past year was made of 20 somethings and we all dressed up; I feel like I would have regretted not dressing up once I saw how much fun others were having. I went as Kim Possible and I have to say that all the fun interactions the CMs had with me as a result absolutely made my night! Especially when Minnie wanted my autograph

Id say a good 70% of the people at these parties that are adults without kids are dressed up, or at least have thier faces painted or wearing ears! Youre safe.

You'll be fine! I've worked many MNSSHP in the past (handing out candy or being a friend of a card from Alice in Wonderland) and MANY adults dress up, as many have already said.

It's Disney World! We encourage you to act like a kid! =D

We saw alot of people dressed up last year. I dragged DH to the trick or treat locations.

yeah I didn't find that out until the day we went. Wasted a day at EPCOT that morning....could have done something else and used that day and spent the whole day in a park.....oh well guess you learn some how.

Yeah I agree with HM....I think we rode it 4 or 5 times that night. But I always seemed to miss the ghost outside.
