As for the video of the screens in the SSE post-show, one MST3K quote comes to mind: "Man! The universe is really cruisin'!"

The wand will have already "emptied you out" by the time you get inside. :lookarounIf there are atleast 6 screens (there are 3 visible in the images) then I think the room will either be very dizziness inducing (imagine 6-7 large screens making it look like you're spinning) or will feel like it's moving forward.
Either way, i'm slightly concerned about the nausea consequences of this design.
oh, it'll be there before you know itWell on the way to page30 :lookaroun
I wanna be in Martin-n-Merf's group on October 1st.
(I'll bring my camera to assist in geeky photo taking).
With each new pic, Project Tomorrow looks better and better... is it me or is there a hint of the retro-future styling seen in Soarin's queue? As promised, I'm back from WDW with some photos of Innoventions' current look (for Martin) and I also took some of Project Tomorrow.
And to get us heading back in the right direction, here`s a 1982 original; note the mosaic filters on the side screens, and the central screen actually in use as opposed to the UV park logo:
Almost... there were no doors (just open spaces) between the glass dividers, but the open gaps were only as high as they are now; half the ehight of the actual hall. But yes, light flooded in - and since the screens were up above this height in for want of a better word a recessed ceiling they were always bright enough to see.The entire area on both earth station east and west...where the project tomorrow sign is being placed right now...that entire area was full of floor to ceiling glass divider walls and glass doors.
Yep - Earthstation had 2 guest relations desks between each set of doorways, 10 WorldKey terminals on the southern wall and 7 screens set into the ceiling wall. Plus lots of chairs arranged in rows to face the screens. That`s all it was meant to be; guest relations via the desks and WorldKey, a rolling info center for the park (screens) and a place to relax. Not an in-your-face no-time-to-chill video-generation exhibition. The Bell System (AT&T) had plenty of space to exhibit -they didn`t need to be corporate heavy after you rode SSE. They had half of Communicore West - and the spiel at the end of SSE told you so. All Earthstation had was the Bell logo in the WorldKey sign (WorldKey was developed by Bell System and WED)Ok so wait.....you are telling me that the little exit of SSE had that HUGE area with the screens and everything in it? That was EarthStation?????
