Princesses may not rule fantasy land after all! Frontierland expansion rumor reality?

I think everyone would like to see this, as there is not such a thing as a perfect and flawless land in the MK at the moment. The only land that is not in need of some major changes is Main Street USA. Even Liberty Square could need some additions, I mean one major refurb (HM) in 40 years, that's all?
But the problem is, no one, not even Walt would expand the entire MK in one big boost because it doesn't make sense. It#s not only too expensive nowadays but it also would create HUGE problems with capacity and inconveniences due to the construction works. You cannot make half the MK a construction site and still expect the guests to be satisfied with the experience. One major and perhaps two minor additions simultaneously are no problem, but anything more would spell desaster.

They did that with Epcot for the millenium celebration and it was a disaster from what I can remember (I was a bit younger at the time too).

Hercules miniland!!!!!!!

Erm I don't know how big a success Hercules was in the US but in Germany it narrowly missed to bomb. Just enough revenue to not call it exactly a flop it had no influence on pop culture. Several Disney tunes are well known in Germany, most Germans can sing a few lines of the Jungle Book songs but Hercules? Was it that different in the US?
In Wikipedia it says "and made $99 million in revenue in the United States during its theatrical release and $252,712,101 worldwide"

Less than 100 Million bucks domestic, that's nothing nowadays. It would be absurd to base an entire subland on a mediocre and less than successful movie that even most Disney buffs do not consider a real classic.

And btw I repeat myself, get away from this movie fixation. HM, PotC, JC, Space Mountain, BTMR, all of these rides are not based on movies, are original concepts and designs and partially even created their own franchise and are defining Disney magic. I read about so much ideas of WDI that are not based on some movies but unique, let them come to life.

Please :brick:It would be great to get something original but don't kid yourself Disney no longer does original.

What the MK really needs to do is overhaul the Speedway. There have been talks of making it Cars Themed and I for one think they should. Of course it would be on a smaller scale from DCA but it could still work.

As far as Frontierland goes they do need something else there. The more I have been thinking about it the more Fantasyland Expansion is more for girls. They do need to balance the park out more.

For once I might have to answer yes to this question. Actually they should just leave MTTF if there is going to be nothing.

Why the extreme hatred of the PH franchise? I know it's not your cup of tea. But not everything is going to appeal to everyone. Wouldn't you rather have someting that appeals to a lot of other guests (and keeps them out of line for the things you like) than nothing?

Makes no sense at all.

MTTF will be getting the same treatment 20K got. And I will be equally as happy. Both needed to go. :D:lol::sohappy::ROFLOL::king:

No this franchise is a straight to DVD Tink merch machine. It is just not good imo DIsney can do better.
