Sounds great...any new Entertaiment additons are welcome.

And i agree about the In-Park promotions starting before a film is released..regardless of wether or not it has been 'proven' a hit or not.

Looking forward to seeing what these characters will look like live in the flesh.

:)

Since it has been announce Anika Noni Rose will be participating in the Epcot Christmas show, wouldn't it be neat if she made an appearance as the princess at least once over at the MK?

More and more great ideas from Disney lately and putting the characters in the park before the movies release is perfect.

Well then...This could be nice. I am glad it's for the MK...If this movie makes it big, I hope MK gets some of it's attractions.;)

Indeed....Not LS, itself, though. If it's done tastefully it could be nice.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. It's a good sign.:)

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww:lookaroun

If this movie does good, they will push it as the rebirth of handdrawn animation, most likely with an attraction.;)

Yeah, EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!:hurl::hurl::hurl::hurl::hurl::lookaroun

TSI is perfect for it IMO.

It is already being billed as the rebirth of handdrawn animation because it is.

Of course the future is a hybrid of the best of hand drawn and CG. See Rapuzel and Cameron's Avatar.

I don't think TSI would be good at all.:shrug:The movie has nothing to do with Colonial America,or the American Frontier. It would work in Disneyland, because of close proximity to New Orleans Square.:)

I'm talking about the TS stories not MT. They have never seemed to fit either land.

I completely disagree. I think TS as a Mark Twain character is the perfect transition/middle ground for Frontierland/LS. But honestly, this is just an argument that is going to go nowhere, so I'm not going any further.

OK. But I think PatF could work. But so could several locations for it. I'm just glad they are bringing the characters to WDW.

I'd really like to see the characters stay in Fantasyland. MK is such a kiddie oriented park already, it would be nice f they left some of the park character free.

Next we'll have Baloo in the Jungle Cruise.:hurl:

If the put Jungle book characters on the Jungle Cruise and Wall-E in space mountain, I wouldn't complain.

Tom Sawyer's friend was Huckleberry Finn, who journeyed completely down the Mississippi (clearly the most important of the "Rivers of America" represented here) during the time when America was exploring the Frontier...

And the original "magic kingdom" at Disneyland has a New Orleans Square along the banks of this river.

So, going back to the thread topic, I believe that this promotion would be a good fit with the riverboat, but even more so in Disneyland.

Check out the Satchmo footage from "Disneyland After Dark": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKkj1P3cIEI

It was part of a great special from 1962 wherein Walt shows you some of the cool things they did then, including parties and music. So, having authentic New Orleans music and other special events is not new, but would definitely be welcome.

(The whole special is part of the Disneyland DVD in the Walt Disney Treasures series, and is worth watching. Walt's personal intro is found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLPILfpK3K8 .)

I dream this would happen. I like Jungle Cruise, but it's dated and some Disney animatronics like TLK and JB might freshen it up. I guess I just don't think the skipper jokes can save that ride anymore...

SM could use Wall-E. Not like Wall-E Mountain, but he can make a cameo. Like in a scene you see the fire extinguisher in space scene. That'd be sooo awesome.
