Random question... I saw a bunch of photos from Gay Days this weekend and it looked like it was huge numbers of gay men in particular. Like 80-90%. Is that normal?
By all accounts, it was extremely crowded and extremely positive. I sort of regret canceling my trip but I just couldn’t justify spending vacation dollars in Florida right now. Definitely going next year and looking into Disneyland for the September red shirt weekend.

It's too bad you didn't ignore the media narrative and just have gone and had a good time.
Gay days have been going on in WDW since 1991

In my experience, not unusual, although that percentage seems a little high.

If you walk into the average gay bar, it’s similar.

Just like any other crowded day, I prefer to skip. But I would go for the night time parties - those are the best. I used to love the one at the water park: booze, dance music, water slides, and lots of gay guys lol. (Better for single people, IMO - although I went once with a bf and it was nice to be more relaxed in public, especially way back in the late 90’s.)

All the times I’ve been it has been well attended.
I meant more in the concentration of men versus women, not total attendance.

I've been several times (not as a participant, just as a coincidence), and the only thing I learned to avoid is Magic Kingdom on the Saturday. The rest of the weekend, or the other parks on the Saturday, aren't especially crowded.

MK is the main one. And there are unofficial parties all over the place. A lot of guys end up spending time at the host hotel(s) as well.

As someone who grew up in Florida in the 80’s going to WDW for my birthday the first weekend in June every year it is very normal… Heterosexuals are the minority

If this isn’t gay, I don’t know what is, and I can’t wait to see it. And if Ryan Reynolds is too old to play Ken with his perfect ripped body at the age of 46, I might as well just crawl into a hole.

Well as a straight man …. I am ready to gay it up that weekend… The Barbie trailer has me more hyped then I would of thought originally
