Here is the final scene of Part 1 of The Inheritance, when several ghosts welcome Eric (played by Kyle Soller), into the home of Walter, Eric’s friend and mentor. The countryside house was once a refuge for men suffering from AIDS at the height of the epidemic.

Disney's first LGBT parks character is...a drawing on a wall:

I feel like the word "partner" is very deliberate. It could easily be interpreted as his business partner, which most people would given the context of an old time-E baker in early 20th century America.

But "husband" or "boyfriend" might rile up the fan base, so we're stuck with queer coding for now.

Let me know when Disney builds a ride like Journey to the Center of the Earth or Sinbad's Storybook Voyage with a gay main character.

That would actually be meaningful and cool.

Star of Old Yeller passed away. He realized he was gay as a teen, which messes up his career.

Tommy Kirk was true Disney staple of the 1950s and 60s appearing in countless productions for film and television, playing an important part in shaping the Disney brand.

Like many gay men of decades past, he deserved to be treated better in the prime of his life. Since Disney is all about promoting "inclusiveness" now, they can do more to recognize those from marginalized groups who contributed to the company's history.

A new bill is now introduced in Canada, and it is a better version than the one that ended up dying due to the election we had called while it was awaiting final approval.

A lot of us were pretty choked that bill C-6 died with the election, but now we can celebrate, as this is even better!

"The new legislation appears to be stricter and more comprehensive than the version that was lost with the dissolution of Parliament before the election.

The new version would make "causing another person to undergo conversion therapy" a criminal offence. The previous version, known as Bill C-6, called for a criminal penalty only if conversion therapy was performed on an adult without consent.

The change suggests that no person will be allowed to participate in conversion therapy if the bill becomes law — regardless of consent.

"No matter your age, torture is something you can't consent to," Justice Minister David Lametti said.

Bill C-4 would also make it a crime to send a child for conversion therapy outside Canada, to advertise conversion therapy or to profit financially from the practice."
