No matter what the temp is in Florida, it has to be better than WV. We got another 6 inches Tuesday night. I don't know what that makes our total over that last week.

I really look forward to reading the actual trip report! I've always thought about tent camping in WDW...but am not sure I'd like sleeping in the heat. Typically when I camp it's low temps I'm dealing with!

We left Wv @ 7:00pm on the 7th of Feb. we arrived on the 8th @ 12:30pm. Pulling into the Fort the were about 1/2 a dozen other vehicles and Campers/RV's waiting to check in. It took about 20 minutes to get registered and we were on our way to our site # 2036. This was a great site with enough room for all our gear.

The first night was very cold 32 but we were prepared and turned on the heat. It was nice and toasty in the tent.

After getting everything set up which took only a few hours we decided to venture over to MK. We took the purple bus over to the Settlement and then a boat to MK. We rode POC and HM then we watched wishes and came back to the Fort.

The next day was AK and after we all woke up I went into Mickey D's to get breakfast. I got into an accident and back into someone with only minor damage. We exchanged info and we were on our way.

So when we got back on the first full day the SQUIRELS had invaded our space they ate a banana, nuts, whole pack of hamburger rolls, the lid off another jar of nuts and chips. Totally our fault since we knew we were living in the wild :ROFLOL:One of them was under our neighbors picnic table eating a cookie like he owned the place.

That night we went in town to eat at Joe's Crab Shack (I eat there everytime) I love the atmosphere there and if you have ever been there you understand we always eat on the patio and it is just relaxing while the kids get to play on the playground.

Here is the whole gang.

no believe it or not no. But I can tell you that all the pads are a nice size. We had 2 tents on that was 10Wx20L and the other was 17L and 15W, plus the dining canopy and we could have fit another dome style tent. Are you tent camping? Let me tell you that the next time that I go I want site #2063 because the CS is right there in front of you and the bus stop is there with the CS. In my opinion it is perfect. We just had a little walk to the bus stop at site 2036 let me know if there is anything else you might need to know.

Day 3:

We got up and went to breakfast at Trails End there were only 7 of us out of 11 there and it cost almost $100.00 I was not impressed. :hurl: We were waiting on the other 4 and decided against it since it was not the best. We were headed over to HS and headed straight over to the TT & RNRC . I waited on them to get off TT because if I was a cat and only had nine lifes the TT has 4 of them. :ROFLOL:

None of them are real secluded as far as I could see. I guess we were in the inside of the loop so there was not traffic other than bikes & golf carts. BTW they are $54 a day!
