Here's mine...notice the wonderfully balmy 28 degree temperature :animwink:. This is one of my favorite desktops ever...the wallpaper was created by a WDWMagic user a few months back...wish I could remember who it was.

Yup, it's a widget. I'm still running Panther on my Mac, so I use Konfabulator (I think it was purchased by Yahoo and is Yahoo Widget Engine, or something like that, now).
Actually, here's the link (I just searched and found it...it is owned by Yahoo now). I have downloaded a bunch over the years, but the most useful for me, by far, is the weather one.
Once you download the program and widgets, it's very easy to setup (the little "cog" - like icon in my screen shot by the time is actually where I control my widgets), and they actually load automatically each time I login to my Mac.
