Possible Attraction in France pavilion (Epcot) Update - new Attraction Greenlit

I was just at Chefs de France and I realized that Ratatouille would probably have to start kind of deep. Does anyone know if it would continue the architecture of the current pavilion, or be like the one in Paris which is a more romanticized version?
No inside info, but I would have to imagine an attraction in that pavilion would need a rework of the layout. It's extremely tight back there as it is, and there's nothing to see besides a bakery and some ice cream.

The proposal is to clone the WDSP ride layout. Expect the interior queue to have some modifications.

Exterior wise I'd except what parts will be seen by guests to by sympathetic to the existing pavilion.

So can we expect the movie to remain, and this is just an addition to the pavilion?

I'm sure they can put the entrance to the attraction to either side of the pavilion, Indiana jones style until you get to behind the current building to what will be newly built. If this gets built, and I hope it does, people will be extremely impressed. This attraction is well done and uses screens and props quite well.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but if we get Rat then would we get the restaurant in the attraction building like they have at WDSP. France already has 2 restaurants but that one looks cool and sort of reminds me of the San Angel Inn in the Mexico pavilion and how it overlooks the beginning of the ride.

That would be nice since I could pretend it doesn't exist that way.

I am not a hater by nature, I want to like new additions but I passionately care about Epcot and what it used to be that I find it difficult to see it's original mission statement get discarded this way.
To the contrary, a ride about the French people's love for food told by rats couldn't be a better addition to world showcase imo. Also the original Epcot has been dead for decades... embrace change.

I agree with you there, but you have to admit that an ip that is about the food and culture of a country is literally the best choice outside of an original attraction. It's also not a replacement like Maelstrom was. It's best for placement to be done at least representing the country properly compared to just letting the park rot like it has for the last decade.
