Pop Century Standard Rooms?

We've stayed in Block 2 of the 50's and the block in the eighties that facing the Walt Disney World road sign, sorry can't remember the block number. on the map are pretty much one the furthest blocks from the bus stops/food hall.

As everyone else as said it really is a case of using the shortcuts, using these the walk to our rooms was around 10 minutes with small child in pushchair/stroller.

There's cut through between each of the block's so you never need to walk all the way around.

We love the resort, as it's great value for money and such fun.

Hope you have a good time.

I have seen illuminations from the POP before, not a perfect view but still a nice little treat.

Hi all, I am going to be in the POP in August :sohappy:. We have stayed pretty much in most of the buildings there except the 50's. We have never had much trouble with the walk (it is so much shorter than Carribean Beach walk). Find a short cut that works for you early in your stay. Some of the 'out of the way' walks at the POP will bring you to fun icons and scenery. Look at it as an adventure rather than a hinderence. I have 7 kids and have taken them all so I understand the sleepy kids at the end of the night thing too. Is it possible to request say a room facing the water, parking lot (if you drove or have those sleepy babes) or request a specific building? I would love to finally stay at the 50's.

We were in building 3, floor 2 (room 3236, 50s section) and were able to see the fireworks from Wishes and some from Illuminations. We were in the back near the lake so people who think it is too far to walk probably would not care for that section much. But, being able to see the fireworks a little as you are walking out the door to get something to drink at Classic Hall is a special treat.
