$85 for 5 years for TSA pre check is a good deal. $85 dollars won’t even buy one dinner for a family of 4 in World Showcase. They do, but the airlines are just as bad, though they at do at least let you upgrade out of the cattle call for a fee.

Hmmm….taking away things that were once included…where have I heard that before?Of course the airlines treat people like cattle. They are constantly studying how to squeeze just a few more seats into their configuration. And removing things that used to be included like food on long flights.
not going to buy dinner for 4 in Philly either, unless of course it's just pizza or cheesesteaks. I always say, that is one good thing about living in a hcol area. lol disney prices are in no way shocking. Just had dinner at the cheesecake factory, three people. 1 appetizer, no dessert. tab before tip? 94.00 bucks. actually at home I budget 50 bucket per person if we go out to a sit down. In nyc I budget 80 bucks per person$85 for 5 years for TSA pre check is a good deal. $85 dollars won’t even buy one dinner for a family of 4 in World Showcase.

Pay with your AMEX (and maybe some other cards), and it's free. I wish I could use my AMEX at Epcot for a free dinner. ;-)$85 for 5 years for TSA pre check is a good deal. $85 dollars won’t even buy one dinner for a family of 4 in World Showcase.

Global Entry is worth $500. It's amazing for international travel. Sapphire Reserve Card members get it free too.Yes. You get a statement credit for it. As the poster above noted, also for global entry.
Key words "High End". Disney has no high-end benefits because Disney is not high end.Global Entry is worth $500. It's amazing for international travel. Sapphire Reserve Card members get it free too.
Disney needs more of these "high end" benefits. The fact Disney has no rewards program or much special stuff for frequent travelers is a huge miss. I believe this would positively impact "quality" concerns.
We haven’t been in 13 years so it will be interesting to compare notes with youThanks Jiminy. That's what I figured. I'm very curious to judge myself and am looking forward to a post trip report with our experience. I have only been to WDW twice ever = ~1990(5 days) , and ~2012 (1 day). So I am NOT a regular by any means. My memory from previous trips was the parks looked great overall. It is too bad that people are slobs, but Disney definitely would be smart to do whatever it takes to keep it clean. That's a major differentiator for me between Disney and non-Disney theme parks.
When do you guys go? We're 2nd week Nov. I have high hopes other than crowds likely being higher than I thought for that weekWe haven’t been in 13 years so it will be interesting to compare notes with you
