Should we expect letdown at D23?

Edit: last option is supposed to read "Absolutely nothing new for State Side parks, especially Florida (but maybe California) and some clues of what could be announced in the near future."

They are most likely to show concept art on shanghai, release specific details as to rides and lands, and also the progress of the construction.
For the states, more information on existing projects and maybe something DHS related.
DLP, Expand the 20th anniversary for the next year, lol.
For other parks, maybe a new show, small ride, upgrades etc.
New merchandise and more on the revamp of DCL magic.

WDW - DHS make-over, Avatar details, Soarin' Over The World

DL - Soarin' Over The World, Monstropolis

I don't care for the rest lol.

I'd like to hear some more details about Disney Springs. I'm not too crazy about Avatar, but maybe seeing some concept art would change my mind (is Avatar even relevant nowadays?). As for the DHS expansion, I don't see that getting announced anytime soon. I could be wrong though. Well, we'll see next month...

I wouldn't be surprised if concept art is there, just don't know what it will be for.

Judging from that latest interview with the D23 guy (forgot his name) who said "no new product" will be announced for Parks & Resorts, I think what we'll see is concept art for previously announced projects.

And that means Avatar. They just have to show something for Avatarland, even if its one of those really vague and moody sketches from a wispy cloud about 1500 feet above the site.

Yes, unfortunately. I'd expect maybe more details on what has already been announced, but that's if we're lucky.

My default position on these things from here on out is to expect NOTHING.

Then, if we get benches, I'm thrilled. :D

It's a defense mechanism. I'm sure everyone here understands.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
Whatever is announced, it won't be enough. Disney needs to get off their collective butts and really wow us before I'm willing to be excited about them again.

Based on what's being said publicly right now, I'm thinking the exact same thing. We'll likely see some concept art of building exteriors but not much else.

They have to have a big announcement especially after last time. This is their premier convention when they have the worlds attention they need to go big or go home.
