If you had the choice, would you rather them build a 5th park, or simply use the money to add attractions and enhance the existing parks?

New attractions, definitely. There is so much room for development yet at AK and MGM. Let's concentrate on making them both all day parks and then we can talk about adding a 5th park.

Disney needs to put more attractions in the parks vs. making a 5th park, hands down!
The AK is the park needing the most work, IMHO. I won't even go to the AK anymore until they put in more attractions!
MGM is second on my list for updates. It needs maybe 2 more GOOD attractions. ToT and RnRc are the only BIG attractions there. Granted, they're VERY GOOD attractions...two of the BEST in WDW, I believe.
Epcot is being fixed up a bit...the new Living Seas attraction will be complete soon, so that helps there. It has MS, TT, and Soarin so it's pretty up to par on "big thrills".
Magic Kingdom can be left alone, I think it's okay for now.

Once the 4 parks are up to par, I believe that would be an appropriate time for Disney to begin plans for a 5th park!

These are all my opinions though!:)

I'd much rather see more attractions in the current parks before they add a 5th gate. I'd love to see more Fantasyland dark rides at MK (possibly in the freshly plowed area from 20K) and just more stuff to do at MGM.

I have a feeling these results will be skewed for the latter option.

Seeing as how Epcot is a 2 land park, couldn't they do the same thing w/Disney Studios. Could they revamp the entire theme to Disney Studios and Seas? I know I will NEVER go to Japan and visit DisneySeas. Could they scrap the backlot and rebuild a second half to the park. Import some of the better parts of DisneySeas? I don't think we actualy have any of the attractions here. I may be wrong, so don't flame. But at least bring in a scaled back DisneySeas. Maybe Mermaidland and aother 1 or two of the lands. I know it doesn't "traditionally" fit. But what does World Showcase "really" have to do with Future World? This could topple Epcot and challenge MK for top park. It wouldn't be a full fledged 5th gate, just adding to a park already there.

I can stay in EPCOT and MK until close (or until my wife is dead on her feet  ), but the other two I can do in less than half a day. We got to AK at open one morning and were done by 11:30 or noon and then spent until 10 PM at MK. I'm not sure if I have ever seen MGM at night time either. We got there one day around noon and left around 7 PM or so...but I think there was still plenty of daylight, as it was April.

Anyway, the way I see it is if they have two parks that can't keep people adequately occupied for an entire day, then they ain't got no business talking about a 5th park.

MK is good on rides, so I'd like to see more rides put into AK, MGM & Epcot's WS first. MGM has too many shows and needs rides for EMH. AK needs to have more rides, it's really only a 1/2 day park. Epcot's WS would be great if some of the countries added a ride and/or updated their movies.

I'd really prefer if they worked on the existing parks by adding more attractions right now, than see a fifth gate. It's just not time yet, there's still a lot more to do and work on at the current parks.

Unless the 5th gate is Nintendoland, I don't really care if we EVER get one. Until then, just keep plussing what's already there... ESPECIALLY Animal Kingdom--WDW should not be home to a "half-day" park.

But what does Frontierland have to do with Tomorrowland? Nothing.

I can't see Disney Studios ever getting a DisneySea section because Studios and Seas are vastly different. Future World and World Showcase are unified because they both deal with mankind's achievements, whether geographically or technologically. Studios and Seas have nothing really in common.

I'd rather see Disney take the Seas concept in a new direction and give Florida a DisneySea-style park without making an exact replica of it, or sticking half of it somewhere random.

I'm voting for new attractions. I think Disney-MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom need the most help, but I'd also like to see World Showcase get a few more attractions (and they don't need to be thrill machines).

Although I think new attractions are needed, especially by MGM and Animal Kingdom, I'd rather Disney build a 5th park as long as it had a promising theme which I certainly cannot think of. It would certainly cut down on crowds throughout the other 4 parks during the busy times of the year like summer. I like that MGM and AK are not too cluttered because I enjoy the scenery and openness of them and Epcot and MK just as much as I enjoy the attractions.

An older-oriented nightmare kingdom would be the only 5th gate I would want at this point. I would really like to see more attractiosn going in and, more importantly, some money spent on restoring some coherency to the existing parks and "lands." (Except Animal Kingdom. It just needs a couple new lands. Everything else is pretty good).

Yeah, I've come to think of EPCOT as kind of a huge, awesome, permanent World's Fair. And I definitely agree, AK and to a lesser extent the Studios need more attractions, and the World Showcase could use one or two new ones as well.
