Was this clothespin the straight type or the one with the hinge? That makes the difference in how it is used as a weapon.

Hinged. That metal spring hinge is what was getting me in trouble. The straight kind could probably only be used to poke out an eye or something. But that hinge...that was bomb worthy (apparently). :D

Utarded Kingdom. ... You may feel that our customs and culture are non-existant, but that is blatantly false and offensive.

I find this very offensive. Not just because you are referring to all British people and the UK countries as retarded which is absolutely ridiculous but also to those globally who mental handicapped or have to care for them. It is not funny in the slightest nor clever to make fun such a subject.

I didn't think it was funny when it was happening -- there was a lot of eye rolling and "are you kidding me" faces going on, but I do think it's funny now. And it was actually an older gentleman -- I suspect retired military, FBI, or something similar. I thought he looked like a sweet man that I could have a nice little conversation with while he was checking my bag. HA!!!

Old guy power trips are worse than young guy power trips. :)

Something About Mary, funny movie with bad jokes. Sometimes offensive humor is funny.

That being said they are a socialist nation and many of their laws are just so against the core of my personal beliefs that I really have a hard time understanding how people live under them. But I would bet everything I own that many there feel the same about what I believe. So it's all personal opinion in the end.
I could write a whole essay on this. Regardless of the law and culture, British people do not want guns at all and the ones that do are the nut jobs who will do nothing but cause harm with them. We have knife crime pretty bad in the big cities here and if guns were legalized I don't even want to think about the huge rise in crime and destruction to every day life they will cause.

I understand that and it is just the opposite in many parts of the U.S. Texas included :)

I have no issue with it either, like I posted it is none of my business.

Comedy is very subjective and varies greatly from what one person thinks is funny to another. Offensive comedy is not usually my thing, obviously.

However on the subject of knife crime, this tragedy happened in a School here today:

15 year old stabbed his elderly teacher to death during class. Just think what would have happened if he had access to a gun. :/

And yet, it's perfectly acceptable to call it "Amurica" and imply that someone who wants to carry a multitool is a "rural farmboy". What image does that conjure, hrm?

It was a joke, hence the "but seriously" part.

However, the original statement (which it was a reply to) was not. It is trendy to make fun of America, especially "rural America". Even we do it to ourselves. It's trendy, and cool. I get that.

It's also "trendy and cool" to be overly offended by everything. I also get that.

He would have shot her to death instead? Would she somehow have been more dead?

On humor I do not know if you have this show over there but I do not think you would enjoy it
