 I started a thread about the lack of a Latin club and I'm glad to see others agreeing with me that PI really needs it :)

I wouldn't know since I've never actually been there, but from what I've heard it sounds pretty cool. But I think a lot more locals head on over to City Walk

three day hopper plus pass...

The three day park hopper plus pass is available through alamo rental, but you call the Disney line, and then you pick it up at any of the will call windows. The Price is $168 and it does exiest because I just got back last night from using one..

I was going to make a really obnoxious comment, but you're alot closer to Lauderdale than MKT is, and you might actually drive up here, hunt me down and cause physical harm, so I won't. :animwink:

Dare I ask that you disagree with what mkt and I said? That's the message I'm getting from what you said. You might as well say it and don't worry, I don't have a car, and Ft. Lauderdale is about an hour away from where I am so I won't bother to make the trek up there :animwink:

3 day pass

I say that there is no 3 day Park Hopper Plus pass!!! I sell the things, and there is not one.

I also bought a three day pass from alamo/national car rental.you dont even need to rent from them. it is also cheaper with them.

I was going to make a comment to but I won't. I don't really go out much more because I work early am. But I do enjoy PI a lot. Love Dawn at Manniquins, ask for the "Dawn Special" . Couple of them will knock you on your butt LOL.

I actually have the most fun at the "other" clubs downtown. Just because I get tired of the convention folks at PI.

Sheesh you guys just intrigue me more and more. Would you just say what you have to say? I would think your opinions will be respected here as long as you make them in a polite, civilized, and non-obnoxious way. Just as I stated my opinion of what I feel is lacking at PI you guys are welcome to make a rebuttal.

Concerts Included

For many of those artists that you mentioned (Jessica simpson, Enrique..), you had to pay a separate ticket fee to get into that concert as it was part of Jingle Ball, I believe. Christina Aguilera, on the other hand, performed for free as she was an upcoming artist then.

That's not true. All of the artists that I mentioned were included with regular admission.

Jingle Ball event was included with annual pass admission - no "separate ticket fee" for that concert or any others mentioned.

Regarding (XL 106.7) Jingle Ball - I believe that ticket prices were either reduced and/or free to the first 1,000 or so general public if they brought a unwrapped toy. I don't recall these details as well because I used my annual pass (as did others in my group.)

Remember, the ONLY day not covered by a P.I. AP is New Year's Eve. Everything else, concert or otherwise, is fair game (excluding some private events reserved by groups, such as "prom" type events, which usually end with the park being opened to the public at 9:00 PM).

There are 1, 2, and 3 day passes for 1 park per day. There are 4 and 5 day Park Hoppers, 5,6,7 day Park Hopper Plusses.

The only thing that is a 3 day pass for park hopping is the Ultimate Park Hoppers, which are for length of stay, that includes everything but mini golf.

I just used 3-Day Park Hopper Plus tickets. Thanks for letting me know it was just my imagination.

OK then. To put it in as non-obnoxious a way as possible....

Is there a need for a latin club north of Dade county? :animwink:

Now, I'd love to see a PI gay bar! Maybe in place of Motions.... :D

dont get me wrong, ive enjoyed the Island on occasion, but it seems to be run down and getting trashier and trashier every time i go.

it seems to me, that disney could think of a better way to spend their money. how bout an updated CoP? or an updated SSE, or an updated SM, or an updated GMR, or a new muppets 3d show, the list extends forever.

i know the locals love the place, but GET OUT! ITS MY DISNEY TRIP!:fork:

(sorry).

So, SmithGett, now that you have enjoyed the Island and no longer have any use for it, Disney should close it and devote its resources elsewhere because you say so?

Should your username be King SmithGett? I don't understand your last sentence at all - Who are you telling to get out? Locals? People who disagree with you? And what does any of that have to do with your Disney vacation? You are certainly not required to visit Pleasure Island if you choose not to.

There was no poll here, but I very much enjoy the existence of Pleasure Island and will make it a point to be there on a couple of nights during my upcoming Disney vacation - so there!

Seriously, I assume Pleasure Island is profitable or it would be closed. Profits from Pleasure Island help the overall financial health of the WDW Co., contributing in some small way to the eventual attraction upgrades you covet.

I can see your point since we have a lot down here...but unfortunately for me, I haven't seen any or been to any because my friends like the "all hip hop all the time" clubs :hurl: Don't get me wrong hip hop is ok, but it gets boring after a while.

Back on topic: Sure, why shouldn't there be one up there in Orlando? That gay bar sounds interesting though, but not my cup of tea :animwink:

I went to PI two years after it opened. It was ok then. Then, I went to PI about four years ago and it is a bit rundown. But, it's like Captain Hook says (read above). Nicely said, my friend.. nicely said. ;)
