Sleeping Beauty is the forgotten princess at WDW!!!

She is my favorite, definitely the prettiest and she brings with her Disney's GREATEST villian! Yet she is scarcely found anywhere in the park! Cinderella and Snow White each get a ride, and Aurora? NOTHING! NOT FAIR, I'm officially protesting!!! Who's with me?

By the way, I'm brand new here but thought I'd come on board with a BANG!

Welcome! I agree that Sleeping Beauty is somewhat overlooked at WDW. Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorites as a child. Before the advent of VHS, I can remember my mom bringing me to the movie theater to see it when I was 5 years old.

It actually wasn't my favortie growing up but it has become by favorite lately. I love the way she is drawn, and the look of the scenery. Also, you really can't top Maleficent, she is just the best!

Yeah, Sleeping Beauty is one of the best princesses out there, and she isn't even recognized in the parks! I think she deserves her own Fantasyland attraction!

when we had breakfast at cinderella's royal table i was so excited to meet all of our favorite princesses...but aurora wasn't there. we came to the conclusion that she overslept, so she couldn't make it. i'm still hrilled that we got to meet all the other characters, but i've still never met aurora. *sadness*

I met her at the character breakfast twice. Last time I asked her when her ride was going to be constructed in Fntasyland....she said she would let me know...that was a year ago but I'll keep you posted when she calls me to fill me in. :D

Did you really meet her at a breakfast? I've only ever seen her in parades and stage shows. The evil queen gets more exposure than her. :rolleyes:

She comes around every now and then at Cinderella's Royal Court. And about the evil queen, as bad as it sounds, she does get more exposure. Heck, the queen practically gets her own ride!:shrug:

Now THAT is funny because I have NEVER seen the evil queen, and I have to say I LOVE her as well, I think her and Maleficent use the same makeup artist...they're into that NATURAL look... you know, tons of purple eye shadow and the darkest red lipstick available.

Maleficent and the Evil Queen are the best villains ever! Ursula's pretty wicked as well, but she's not as undescribably evil as the Queen or Malifacent.
