My eyes were more drawn to that girl in the picture wearing high heels. What the heck was she thinking!?

She's a Disney CM, observing the interactions of the in-training characters.

The best time to meet Maleficient and the Queen, and all your other favorite villains is during the Not So Scary Halloween Party- they're EVERYWHERE during that time.

I have to agree with the starting poster. Princess Aurora is my favorite princess, the movie is my favorite of all the animated films. I even almost got a tattoo of Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather...:p .

I have been to disney many many times and have seen Aurora a total of ONE TIME! I got my picture with her but I must say I was disappointed. The CM who was playing her had a really bad complexion and WAAAAY to much make-up on and her hair (prob. a wig) was so bad. Her dress wasn't even that nice. Maybe I'm being a little harsh, but since she's my favorite, I hold her to a higher standard. She wasn't really pretty either, sad to say. The CMs who play Snow White and Cinderella are so beautiful, naturally, and when I saw who was playing Aurora, I was kinda disappointed. It seemed like she was totally neglected as the great character that she is. When I got home and looked at my picture with her, I didn't even print it and put it in the album. :(

LOL

Funny you should say that, I've met her twice and had a similar reaction. It seems they don't cast her right. The Cindy's and Snow Whites tend to look at least a little like the real character, but both times Sleeping Beauty looked NOTHING like her. And I agree her dress looks cheap and costum-y in comparison to the other girls. What is the deal with this girl? I'm glad I'm not alone at least!

By the way do most people prefer the pink or blue dress? I like the pink only because the blue is too much like Cindy's and being that they are both blonde, it's confusing enough.

I agree. When I met Aurora earlier this month for the first time I was very disappointed. And still to this day I have not seen a picture of one that I think looks like her. I think they need a better wig also and they pile on too much makeup.

I loooove the blue dress in the movie and I also love her as Briar Rose. But I understand why they chose the pink over the blue because of Cinderella. But it was weird, during the Enchanted Adventures Parade for Pirate Princess she was wearing a purple dress. It is like they decided to mix the two together! :ROFLOL:

Here are two of the four Aurora's I met on my last trip. The first one was in Epcot. She was in good character, but I'll agree with most of you - she wasn't what I'd hope Aurora would look like.

This one was rather pretty. (They were right inside the MK) She played a great Aurora! Prince Phillip was a little to feminine for my tastes... especially since he's one of the princes with the most adverture-action.

Now that I think about it... since I did bump into her a good amount of times, I would have loved to see her in a Briar Rose costume. I think it would be fitting for the France pavilion in Epcot. More of the "French country" Sleeping Beauty. I think she's lovely in that outfit in the movie.

I've seen the purple dress as well, and while I hate to admit it, I kind of like it better than either the blue or the pink, but maybe that's just because I prefer purple in general!

Couldn't agree more about the wig and makeup. There is a way to do heavy makeup to enhance cartoonish features without it looking cakey, especially the foundation! I would say brighter eye shadow and lipstick and less heavy blush and powder, but what do I know!

I think the dress she wears when she is Briar Rose just expresses who she is more than the fancy gowns. It is funny because my friend works at the Disney Store and whenever they sell something where she is Briar Rose he immediately calls me so I can come and buy it, lol

We met her at a recent Pirates and Princesses night. She was simply charming and sweet beyond words. My two girls were facinated by her, and her ability to carry on a conversation with them. She's great.

She DOES seem to be getting alot in the way of merchandise and we found her once in Epcot's France pavilion, she was in the Cinderellabration show and Malificent is in the new castle show, but other than that, there isn't alot. I'd like a dark ride myself.

Wow, well it seems she has a bigger fanbase than I thought, here's hoping for a dark ride (HAHA...)

I'll have to look for her in France since that's where she seems to be hanging out in her new purple digs. I'm surprised she's there and not Belle.

Belle is also often there as well.
