Excited to hopefully complete the final leg of booking for our upcoming January vacation by modifying our reservation to include a Stay Play Dine 2017 promotion.

Stay Play Dine is a roughly a $1,500 savings on our family of 5's 10-night stay.

Hope it's repeated for 2017

Play Stay Dine was released to Disney Visa holders on 09/24 last year

Took me 70 minutes on hold and I called at 7am ( I am my own travel agent on this one.)

Ended up upgrading from Pop (which is excluded) to Riverside pool view.

Cost with dining plan ended up being about the same as pop undiscounted w dining plan for our 8 night, like $150 more so I am very pleased

Just get on hold or nag your TA

Caribbean was also sold out except for pirate rooms already

We are going 2/5 to 2/13

I was told Pop was NOT excluded, just sold out.
Movies is excluded however.
Is that wrong?

Thank you!! I was hoping for a bigger discount for deluxes so I could maybe swing contemporary, but it looks like I'm going to stick to a moderate. More money for food! haha

I"m like you, but cheaper I guess, lol.
I was hoping for a bigger discount to finally swing Coronado, but I'm stuck with a value again.
I just keep telling myself, you only sleep there, so I have a hard time paying the extra. But I'd love to stay there some day.

Pop is not excluded, but the availability is limited. I did find availability for the room discount on dates that the package discount is not available at Pop, so others can try that as well. It sounds like you got a good deal at Port Orleans Riverside, and that is such a great resort!

Ok I'm DONE. No turning back this time. We are booked Jan. 21-28 in 2 garden view rooms at the Beach Club with PSD. Its costing me $400 more than our 2bd villa at the Bay Tower was without dining, but we've never done dining before and my parents want to try it this time since they are thinking its their last trip to WDW. Basically that $400 equals what our meal at Cinderella's Table would cost out of pocket.

Thanks for the heads up this morning guys! We are in at Riverside for 14 nights January 16th-30th! The discount saved us almost $3000 dollars so we are more than excited. Now just to decide whether or not to stick with Riverside or upgrade to Saratoga Springs and rent DVC points. The cost is pretty similar. Wishing everyone good luck getting their discount!
