Planet Earth to take over The Land?

Good point, but I would say that it is less Animal Kingdom-y than Circle of Life.

They should get the narrator for "The Seas" to do Disneyearth (or whatever it's called). Although, I pretty much think she should do the narration for everything.

Hey, why not? Jim Cummings would be pretty cool too...:D

I don't believe it is the same documentary they are only using the Planet Earth footage in the commercials. Totally new movie as far as I can tell.

I do think marketing has made it confusing though. If the new movie is just a re-edit of the Planet Earth series I don't think it will do well in theaters.

Yeah I know its a different film. We will see if it gets the same amount of attention as a feature film than a TV series.

They really should edit that new footage for the commercials though, I'm sick and tired of seeing that shark jump!

Out or in?:lookaroun

I think it was a joke.

By the way, as much as I want the return of Epcot Center, I think the Nemo addition works. The original "ride" was just :snore:.

That said, The Seas desperately needs an Epcot Center-esque E or D ticket also.

So EE, original paint scheme for UoE, new film for CoL Theater, new Epcoty SSE post show, new descent ascending, new FoN refurb, potential new and visionary sponsor for WoM.......ah.......I mean Test Track.

I see a pattern here :D

I love Nemo in LS. Sorry. But the LS was a snore before.
I agree with you usually, but I ask you...Where is the Future in Nemo?:D

They could easily keep some Nemo aspects of the Pav (Turtle Talk!-love that show) and add in some future technology (that we happen to know about!) that highlights the Seas and our future in using them and discovering them.

Poseidon? :D

Extreme Hydrolator Voyage?:D

:lo:

And YES, I see the pattern. I hope it continues.

I agree that there's not much "futuristic" about the pavilion in the current state, but that's an easy fix IMO.

But the pavilion is just to darn entertaining for me to dislike it that much. Plus it and the land do the best at teaching while entertaining in the park.

If anything The Seas is more akin to the old EPCOT than M:S, Test Track, UoE, and Imagination.

I don`t get it. Plenty to look out at. Seabase Alpha had one of the best storylines and associated theming ever to come out of WED. Now you descend under the sea with Nemo, leave your clambmobile and hey! You can see daylight through the glass exit doors straight away. Illusion crushed.

I guess LS just didn't make an impression with me when I was a kid. I remember the story of Horizons, JII, UoE, but I just don't remember Sea Base's story.

I do mourn the loss of the hydrolators though. They could have easily kept them for the exit.

Exactly.:brick:

Kinda like that horrid line from JIIv2.0

We must be entertained in different ways. The ride is nice, but bores me slightly... TurtleT is fun, but the wait always kills me, and the displays are what I learned in Marine Bio I a few years back. The main draw is still the tanks for me.:D

And explain how it's ye olde EPCOT Center? I don't get it.

That definitely needs to be fixed. I agree 100%. A simple wall/display would do it.

I just think the Nemo addition is great for families and to me it is only the pre-show for the pavilion. I still think Epcot needs some attractions for famalies but The Seas also needs some Epcot type attraction. I think some kind of an educational undersea simulator ride is ideal.

I wonder if James Cameron is too busy :veryconfu

While Disney's Earth might be more DAK based, SURE!:D

This is synergy I can believe in...I'm secretly hoping for a film on the Seas (Bye Nemo!:D), Energy, Space, and all the rest. This could be a wonderful key to unlock the hidden wonders of the Future World.;)
If thats the case then we might as well debut the DisneyNature films and then turn them all into Epcot attractions.

My fingers are crossed hoping for a new version of the Soarin film solely for Florida as it should be easy to swap in a new film and hopefully with the Disney Nature people at work they could go for it really easy.

I saw it some time ago. There is some new footage but much of it is reused from Planet Earth. The film is essentially a few of the more "wow"-inducing moments from the series strung together. Would be very nice to see a version of it at Epcot. Would fit in very well.

I was wondering about that. We bought Planet Earth and were wondering if they were going to recycle footage from the original Planet Earth series. There would need to be some pretty cool stuff for me to purchase a remake of the original....Maybe they could put some hidden Mickeys in it or something
