@J.D. thanks for posting that. When I first saw the pictures, I thought it only said "Pizza Planet" too. The other words don't have enough contrast against the red background to stand out. I bet some manager will point this out and the sign will be adjusted before opening!

Why does Pizza Planet appear on the right of the sign over the main entrance?

There is always homage to what was in that spot previously. Maybe this is that homage.

Love the pictures being posted. The Muppets mini land is looking better and better. I hope they keep investing in the area because it has so much potential. It will be very busy once SWL opens up and I hope they have ten dining lined up to help with the crowds.

I'm just wondering if there are plans to expand the Mini Muppet land to go around the area where Muppet*Vision is...It's a big amount of space and I'm sure SWL Is going to spread out that far as it has to Transition to the next theme..

I might have missed it in a previous post but does anyone know why the building in the bottom right of this photo has survived demo up until now?? Seems like it would have been gone while doing the other demo around it. Just curious and thanks!

My guess (Just a theory) if you watch Martin's Tribute to the Backlot tour you will see a walled off area behind the said building you mention and it shows where the Former Muppet Studios section was to be....Go to the 20:25 section of this video to see it...

So my guess is that...Maybe it's coming? I won't hold my breath but, if they brought back an idea from 1991...I say...Bring it.

It's been mentioned that there are a lot of utilities that run through that building that need to have dealt with first.

What does it say about Disney World/ Hollywood Studios that we're hanging onto every announcement for a restaurant that a) the inside is still a mystery (it could be so-so, or it could be phenomenal) and b) we're not sure what the quality of food is even going to be?

Like, I love the Muppets, and I'm looking forward to this restaurant, but I'm almost starting to feel like this is a little sad on Disney's part to not have any other new attractions opening soon.

I'm glad to see Disney starting to build up their dining options. That's the one thing they did over at DAK before starting to have the nighttime offerings and Avatar. Star Wars land will have huge crowds coming to that side of the park. This will give families more options if the dining is sold out in SWL. Keep enhancing this area to help take pressure off SWL.

If this area gets a show, a ride, and a restaurant (... and themed bathrooms), it would be complete.
