I think its called the electric umbrella, in future world Epcot, I know the mini pizzas on property are supposed to be all made at the same place but these seem to taste better to me.

Not sure if they still do this, but at Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness, you use to be able to make your own. I was a kid when we did it and loved it. But it could be that making your own was all that made it great but it was a lot of fun.

Best pizza:confused: I think that the pizza at Riverside (Dixie Landings) used to be pretty good. Most of the cheaper resorts have pizza you can order like at a regular pizza place. The only thing is that if you like it crisp or even done, in my opinion, you have to tell them to bake it longer. Generally the pizza is pretty good to so so.

Now for a little different pizza go to Downtown Disney and to Wolfgang Puck Express. This will not please the kids though.

In the parks I must agree the Electric Umbrella at Epcot or Pizzafari at AK. I never got to eat pizza at the Toy Story place at MGM.

If you are staying at one of the resorts I listed up above, you can have the pizza delivered to your room, I think it is free.

The pizza at Fort Wilderness used to be pretty good too I think it used to be like Fri or Sat nights you could go in and get pizza. It might be worth going in there if you want to spend the time getting there by bus if you aren't staying there or boat if you go from MK or one of the resorts in that area. You cannot drive back there if you aren't in the campground, plus there isn't any parking.:brick:

How is the pizza at wolfgang pucks? Is there off the wall toppings? is it good? We stayed at POR last trip and did have pizza there. Any other places downtown or in the parks for good pizza?

Don't know what is best, but don't get the ones from Pizza Planet in MGM. Just institutionalized, lousy, imitation pizzas. You can do better elsewhere.

Best quick service? Pizzafari, I love our pizza and it's great with a side casear salad. But I'm bias I supposed.

But POR does have pretty good pizza, and then Wolfgang of course!

You go there for the atmosphere! :animwink: ;)

(and the Green Aliens game... :lookaroun I successfully got one of those plush aliens once!)

Didn't one of the Travel Channel specials describe a pizza place in AK? Pizzafari maybe? I've never eaten there, I just remember the story about it!

I'll agree with the people who said to skip MGM's Pizza Planet...I love Toy Story, but the pizza wasn't that great.

Two times that we have stayed at AS Music we have eaten their large pizzas and their personal pizzas and they have been great...don't know how anyone else feels but we really liked it and it was filling :)

Oops, forgot about Wolfgang's. My family has eaten the pizza at WP Express and really like it. That's where my vote goes for the best pizza.

Wolfgang's = Best

Pizzafari = Worst (stale! I chipped my left incisor on their pizza)

So you are saying it was kind of bad huh? :animwink:

Takes out my planning book for our upcoming trip, crosses out Pizzafari...

and their pasta isn't very good either.

They need to redo the cuisine there. If the food they served was at LEAST like Pizza Planets it would be 1000% better.... and I'm not a big fan of Pizza Planet either, so that's saying a lot (althought, I do enjoy the occasional drip of salad dressing on my pizza crust... and pizza planet is good for that)

Those are pretty good; not quite what most people think of when they hear the word pizza though.

the regular pizza at Spoodles (not the flatbread stuff) gets my vote! wish i had some right now!

2nd choice would be the personal pizzas at the Plaza Pavilion! they're the closest thing to FW's original that i've ever had!

speaking of FW...are you sure that was Electric Umbrella that served pizzas? i've never known of them selling pizza...only sandwiches and such. now, there was a place on the opposite side of FW that sold pizza and pasta, and their pizza used to be the absolute best, hands down...but then they changed how they made them, and the weren't as good...and then the restaurant closed altogether. wish i could remember the rightful name of the place.

i used to really like Pizza Planet's pizza, but now i'm indifferent to it.

Wolfgang Express's pizzas are pretty good! i've tried the pepperoni and the cheese, but i can't remember which one i liked better. guess it depends on one's personal preference anyway.

but definately try Spoodles! it's a 'must-eat' for any pizza nut!

The sit-down side of Wolfgang Puck's pizza is out of this world. We had one and really enjoyed it. It was some pizza with salmon on it.. weird combo, but it tasted great. I'd recommend going there for pizza :)
