Pixar's Onward

Yeah, the more I hear about this, the less I'm interested in it. Unicorns eating out of the trash, har de har har. Plus wokeness and uninspired character design. Not to mention the literally half-dead dad. Maybe Pixar should have named it "The Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants". :p

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Remember when people weren't interest in Coco?

No offense but based on your tirades on this board over the years your opinion means nothing.

Not even Coco was good in your eyes?
Like most Pixar films I thought it was well done, but it's just not my cup of tea. Most if not all of the Pixar films released thus far are films that I watch once, and never care to see again. They're just not as interesting or fun to me as a lot of Disney Animated features or even some Dreamworks films. There's just something about Pixar's style that just has bored or polarized me to no end for as long as I can remember.

Well it makes a bit of sense you are interested in Onward then. From the trailers at least, this has a very DreamWorks vibe in my opinion. It feels the least pixarish of any of the movies they have done thus far.

This movie didn’t grab me at all from the trailers and still photos.

THEN I saw a preview in DHS last week (about 10 minutes) and it really gave the film much more context and looks like it can be a really good one.

So now I’m excited to go see this after thinking “$2 Redbox rental”

I watched the preview this past weekend and I was hooked!

As someone who has never liked or cared for much of Pixar's offerings this is the first one that appeals to me in a big way. I for one am very excited for it, even if it doesn't seem like a lot of other people seem to be interested sadly...

Yeah, darn those people and their higher standards! How dare they have better taste than you!

What is your problem? Just a few posts earlier you were throwing around the "triggered" card, yet now you're having a hissy fit because someone stated their opinion on a movie. Relax.

She/he/it didn't share an opinion, she/he/it tried to insult me. And got burned for it. Do try to pay attention.

Yeah, besides his hatred for the Muppets. He's been very biased when it comes to new stuff from Disney and Pixar. At least they are doing original content again and aren't sequels.

Again, this takes me back to people's thoughts on Coco before it's actual premiere.

Nah, people can have disagreements. But you are insulting to those who don't share your own opinions. That's trollish behavior.

I criticized an upcoming Pixar film and some dum-dum decided to react to my opinion by insulting me personally. That's not trollish behavior? Interesting how you pick and choose who to lecture, there, dude...
