But will it have Jack-Jack on a stick?
i really surprised TDA has not taken advantage of the whole jack jack on a stick thing.
its so easy to make some money and at the same time laugh at themselves a bit.
jack jack on a stick icecream pops, jack jack on a stick cake balls, jack jack in a stick straws, jack jack on a stick hot corn dogs. so many possibilities

I am a bit surprised by that. Probably will be a rather cosmetic change for Metroville.
It probably jives with the theory that this will be a pretty temporary addition to get over the hump of SW Land opening. We can’t see the smallish indoor spaces along the corridor but it seems like this will be mostly meet and greet stations and maybe some street entertainment.

For someone with a better idea of where things are- could you circle where TSL, Metroville, and the Cars attraction are on a picture or map? I’m just curious as to how far Cars will be from Metroville and TSL

Yellow = TSL
Red = Metroville
Blue = Flex space where the cars attraction will be.

The layout of this poor park is a mess.

It would help a lot if they tear out the Animation building and connect Animation Courtyard with the RNR area.

I also think it was shortsighted to make Pixar Place backstage (yes, I know that's an ironic statement given the thread this is) -- they should have kept it on stage and used it as an additional connection to SW:GE. Even if they merged it into the walkway between TSL and SW:GE.

It wouldn't surprise me if they decide to eventually. It's slightly narrow but after the first year or two, I don't think people can be expected to use TSL as the exit back into the main park.

Question for our resident experts! Is there enough space in the Metroville area to place a dark ride? Is there any unused space in the back of the Great Movie Ride.

@marni1971 has mentioned that Minnie and Mickey will not take up all the space in GMR, but I am not sure how much space will be left unused.
I’d love to see them use some of the backstage area next to TSL (to the right as you enter TSL). I think it’s a parking lot and a garage back there or something. Make a real permanent Metroville with E ticket dark ride.
