Trying too hard to be a badass but failing miserably. Jessie from Toy Story is more convincing than this “pirate”.

I have it on good authority (nothing more than feeling and a hunch) Constancy will be removed for the 50th. We know Disney loves to tamper with classics and this refurb definitely showed they somewhat care about what the fans think so I feel it's very likely we get a new creepy ghost bride next year.

Yeah but the mist waterfall was neat. Come on, people. Must I always be a contrarian? Agree with me!

I liked the waterfall effect (not the character projection part), but it always bothered me how little attempt was made to conceal the equipment used for it. Had it been better integrated and more subtle without a big talking head on it (and the original soundtract intact like we have again), I woulda been fine with it staying.

We can only dream. At this point I'd settle for a really-for-real HM refurb. The ride is in very sad shape thanks to years of holiday abuse.

It was a cool effect but that’s basically all it was. It also dripped water as you went underneath it. It won’t be missed by me.

I'd like to see an extended refurb like PM is getting at DLP, but I imagine the vloggers and APs would throw a fit if Disney announced the ride were closing for the better part of a year.

It already does close for 1/3rd of the year. What's another few months? The PM refurb is a near complete reworking, though, which I certainly don't want for HM. Updating animatronic, fixing lighting, etc. is something I can get onboard with.
