Pirates refurb dates released

I would've happily taken the Parisian version of this scene. Not even sure why they bothered to design two versions if they weren't going to recycle the Paul Frees audio. I don't know how funny the Parisian version is as I do not speak French, but the "prisoners" are in pajamas as they should be and the redhead isn't annoying.

Not only does the French Redhead look a lot better, but the animation on her is really nice too. It's restrained, and she kind of whips her gaze back and forth as if she's ready to strike, much like the "Avast there!" bouncer pirate who fires his gun to silence the hecklers. The character blends into the ride very well.

Here are some more (minor) additions:
-Added and refreshed cloud and sky effects throughout the ride.
-More chickens in the turntable/chasing pirates scene.
-More colorful and greener lighting.
-Refreshed costumes and wigs.
-Better audio.

I noticed the green lighting right after the drops in the caverns. Not sure I like that lighting there or if it comes across better in person? Overall I like all the caverns changes. Looking forward to riding in person.

Yeah, the animation of the Paris redhead is really nice and lifelike. It’s elegant which fits the character. There’s no cartoonish over the top movements like the WDW/DL version does. The fast movements actually make her wobble. It’s like they went out of their way to make this scene into a sad joke with the sloppy animation and dialogue.

I would really like to see a translation of the dialogue in the Paris version. It seems like the Imagineers there actually took some time and effort to make the scene as good as they can.

Well put. It’s the same character in Paris. Here we have a brand new character. That’s why I proposed Redd as the octopus’s name since ours is gone.

To criticize something; the new animatronic in La Catina looks oddly complacent (he was just robbed) and the new Auction banner placement is terrible (perhaps it blocked the view of the above).

Yes. The annoying Irish cowgirl voice, bad voice acting, cringey dialogue and a character who looks nothing like the original.
