Excuse Me! Sorry for showing support for a fellow poster...
Lol no need to apologize. You just seem to support every single change or thing Disney does so I figured he’d at least have one supporter.

So female pirates automatically come from a different country and have different accents?
I don’t see the logic. Male or female, there should be consistency.

Love the new grotto additions. The new auction scene is bad but at least the lighting is better than WDW's. Don't understand why they left the Davy Jones audio at the end of the ride, though.
By restoring that original audio regarding a cursed treasure, it makes Johnny Depp cursed at the end of the ride. He is going to die.
I just provided you an example of a famous female redhead pirate. So I would put the question back to you, do all female pirates automatically HAVE to be the same as their male counterparts? Why should there be consistency when there is no such thing as a consistent female pirate.
That octopus needs a nickname.

Woah wait a second here. Great job by the Imagineers on this.

Well before even looking down I figured you’d at least have one supporter in Irish Guy. Sure enough, I was right.
Might be the only time we ever agree on something though.
In all seriousness this change doesn't strike me as that big of a deal. I respect that some fans are super passionate about Pirates and hate when Disney tinkers with it, but for some reason I can't get that worked up about this particular change. It'll likely go unnoticed by those who aren't intimately familiar with the attraction, which is probably the vast majority of riders. The spirit of the show appears to be intact and the new story line is a better fit for an audience of families with kids. In the end I'm happy that the auction scene has moved to Yesterland where it belongs.

Yep. I'm pretty sure it's just a simple mirror trick like the one in this Empire Strikes Back knick knack I have. Still really enjoy it a lot, though. The costume and character design seems to work a lot better with the ride than the new auction scene does.Woah woah woah.... does he become human?!
Does the awful voice acting, lack of logic, and lack of humor in the new scene not bother you at all?Might be the only time we ever agree on something though.
