Yes it did. I went to one of them.

Me too...the first one, I think. And it poured down rain the first hour and was chilly for Florida. Not the best environment for the party. I would imagine they won't do them during the first two months of the year again. Low attendance and questionable weather for kids to be dressing up in costume.

I know some people think they are not going to do them in Jan. or Feb......but what other reason would there be for the 7:00 MK closing times on certain dates during those months? There is a 7:00 closing on MLK Day (Monday, Jan. 21)....it would be weird for MK to close that early on a holiday if there was not a special event planned. We will be there over that weekend so I am hoping and praying for a P&P party because I have never been to one!

You hit the nail on the head!! I thought is was fun but they didnt give you times for things and to make matters worse I didnt see a princess the entire two nights I was there........However, the fireworks are out of this world!

You know if they wanna boost attendance for this event I don't know why they don't off AP discounts for every date. We went to one on a Sat. in aug. and it was dead. It was a great time for us. I guess Disney is making enough money off the event that it justifies the cost. We will be going again cause the fireworks are the best show they have ever had. However, I thought the parade was pretty lame compared to the Halloween and Christmas parade. I hope they do something to improve it. My only other complaint is that they really need to give you a hand out that has the showtimes for all the other entetainment that is going on. The pirate band was pretty cool but if it wasn't for me finding out on the internet i never would have known what time there performances were.

If the 7PM closings all eventually become P&Ps, I think they are doing this the right way---giving the party time to grow, and in the meantime scheduling fewer each week to concentrate what existing demand there is.

We are going to book tonight or tomorrow night for 3/29 - 4/5 at POR. I seen the 4/1 for MK closing @ 7PM and was hoping that was what it was for. I sent WDW an email last weekend asking about the 1st and 4th and they responded that no official dates had been announced for the P&PP.

We are taking my BIL and nephew (DN-10) for their first trip and this will be our first P&PP (DD-8 and DW). Can't wait to see the fireworks in person. They looked awesome from a video I seen online.

Hopefully the crowds will be a little smaller since Easter falls earlier next year.

When I checked their website a couple of months ago, Jan. 21 (MLK Day) was also listed as a predicted P&P date. Now it is not listed as one anymore, but there is still a 7:00 closing for that night. Does anyone have any ideas on why touringplans.com has changed their P&P prediction for the 21, even though there is still an early closing that night?

Hey, I was just checking the boards to see if there was any update on P&PP and I noticed these posts. And I have to say me too! April 23rd is also my birthday.

With only 365 days in the year I know that it is bound to happen but it is still cool that there are so many people just replying to one thread with the same B-day.
