I'm staying in a studio in two weekends. Hope we get the updated rooms.

The rooms look great. How hard is it to get room with BW view if it is not your home resort?

When a friend of mine who was making reservations a Boardwalk (not his home resort) could only get Board View rooms. Was on a waiting list for standard view. Resevation was for early December. Do not know if the is the norm or not. I am sure that it depends on time of year.

I might be in the minority here but Im not digging the renovation. I liked my salmon pink walls and the light wood - and the art! The picture of the view of the Boardwalk out the window is gone! Off to check mousesurplus!

Thank you for sharing this..Samatha Brown stayed in a very LARGE room on one her specials, but really did not go into much detail like you have..many things you touched on that I did not know was there! Thanks! One pic of the fireplace brought back memories of last we were there looking at Christmas decorations and we sat there for great conversations with alot of people!

Has any one been in one of the 3BR grand villas lately at the Boardwalk? Any pictures of what those rooms look like after the renovation?

We have a reservation for a grand villa in a few months and hope it is renovated by then

It will be nice to finally have a larger tv in the bedroom of the one bedroom villas.

I just got back from a five day stay at a Grand Villa at the Boardwalk. We had 25 people in the room one night for drinks and food and it was great. These villas are one floor so all the non bedroom space together. The renovations where great and we where even able to hook our MP3 player into the rooms sound system.

Just got back frm 5 nights in a two bedroom Boardwealk view from 12-31 thru 1-5 Room 5007-5009 and loved it.

The renovations are great, the beds were so comfortable and TV's were awesome. The only additipon they could make which would make me happier is add the twin sleeper chair.

Loved the view too. It was the best palce to be at midnight on New Years Eve, we had been in Epcot but it was a zoo, so we went back here, sat on teh balcony and saw both Epcot and MK fireworks at Midnight, the Boardwalk was packed below us and we lvoed it.

Would do it again! :sohappy:
