This store is definitely going to be gold mine - I think for the mansion fan it is going to be very hard to resist.

Agreed and it looks great, but it's to bad we had to sacrifice one of the better gift stores for it.

Not sure, but if they do still put the tech into the ride, the trend seems more towards using the longer range MB component and auto-linking them to your acct (and unfortunately thus far you have to buy the Memory Maker package for them to show up)

As others have posted, I'm glad to see so much Haunted Mansion specific merchandise there, and not random hodge podge. However, I do hope they do not add the items seen here to Mouse Gear, or Creature Comforts or some random store within the studios. Once they do that, the uniqueness of this store is gone completely.

Exactly, the thrill of looking through post-ride stores is lost when you know you've seen it all before in 50+ locations. I'd rather pick up my merch in the themed setting it was designed for. But hey, convenience is money. Love this new store though, great job.

Are they going to do anything to the outside at all? That blue doesn't say "Haunted Mansion" to me. They could at least paint it purple and black...I am disappoint...

They probably had to strike a balance between a scheme that calls to mind the HM and one that doesn't clash horribly with the rest of Liberty Square.

What if they were in the ToT gift shop? I think there's an argument either way with a shop that has a similar ambiance.

If it were just some random ghostly themed merchandise, ok. But if they start selling Haunted Mansion plates and marble busts and tombstones directly from the HM at the ToT gift shop, that's poor.

That's really when I'm most likely to spend money, right after I experienced the attraction. More of an emotional purchase rather than a sane one. But going to WDW in the first place is more emotional than sane anyway...

From the pictures I seen, I think that this is just another example of Disney turning things around in the last few years and doing it the right way once again. Attention to detail. I can not wait to get there this month.
