I was going to send you an e-mail requesting you send one of your roving reporters over to DTD to document the progress (and it is progress!) but you are already on it.

Thanks for adding a bit of "pleasure" to our day. :)

No more Pleasure Island. Offerings inside Hyperion Wharf have not yet been announced, but will primarily be restaurants and shopping.

I really miss the old Pleasure Island. Motions I didn't really care for. I really enjoyed it before when it was the Fireworks Factory.

For someone who visited most versions of PI, those are almost as painful as Horizons.

I didn't visit Motion or Rock and Roll Beach Club much, so it's not a huge downer for me... But if/when they reach the buildings on the West End or show the gutting of Mannequins, then I will shed many tears.

Okay, I never got to visit PI either, because of my age. A year before I turned eighteen, they changed the age to twenty-one, and then two years before I turn twenty-one, they shut it down. Bad luck on my part I guess. Anyway, I have an idea, a way to ease the pain for all of us.

... and I'm completely serious 'bout this.

I sometimes imagine myself going back in time, to the grand opening of Magic Kingdom or Epcot, and think of how weird it would be to look at the bare, freshly made park, knowing what was to come. Reverse that. Imagine yourself from the future, that you've grown up seeing Hyperion Wharf, made memories there all of your life, and the demolition photos almost makes you smile, because you know what's coming.

Try that on for size.

but A) I don't know what's coming and B) unless it includes a multi million dollar light show INSIDE a CLUB, I'm not interested! More outsourced crap!
