I think these all look great. The environments look great, they actually look like a sideshow might look. I love the big "Pete's Mouth" entrance. As someone had mentioned, the costumes, when lighted as planned, look much better than the cell phone picture would have suggested.

Well, with these new pictures, I shall have to revise my opinion. The clear lighting reveals Minnie does not dress in bright pink and Goofy does not wear an Evil-Knievel-got-a-job-at-EPCOT-in-1982 costume and...

...no wait, the costumes look exactly the same as they did in the perfectly clear picture of the OP. Which of course wasn't judged by its flash or superficial impression, but by the costume designs it revealed.

It is their basic design that I don't like. It's too over the top. Donald as Davy Crockett ('Donald Crockett') in Frontierland is awesome, the Ducks in Park Ranger costumes in Camp Mickey Minnie in DAK are great, but these circus costumes are one step too far. It's jumping the shark for me. Too many colours, too bright, too carnival.

I think these costumes are really sweet!
I am not one to usually go to Meet and greets, or get my pics taken with characters...

But these make me seriously want to.
(as a fortune teller by trade I kinda HAVE to get a pic with Daisy!)

Alright, I'll bite. Sarcasm?

Sarcasm? Not at all.

I think the circus/carnival theme is over the top. More is not better. Minnie's dress is too pink and fluffy. Even for her. Goofy has too many props and too few clothes. And what's with all that rust on his motorcycle? The MK is about making things all neat and pretty, not realistic. The MK is reality but then without the rust stains.

Donald and Daisy look much better already.

Different folks, different strokes, I suppose. These costumes below totally work for me, more restrained, in a more restrained setting:

Since when? There are places in the Magic Kingdom where things are designed to look old and run-down because it fits the theme. Haunted Mansion is a good example and here is another from Big Thunder:

Okay, I owe TDO (and the posters I debated with in this thread) a very, very emphatic and the most-sincerest of apologies. The new outfits and environments look absolutely incredible in the latest pics. I'm man enough to admit when I was wrong and I was very wrong in this instance.

You seriously couldn't see what the costumes were designed as in the OP picture?

Isn't everything about a circus supposed to be kinda over the top?

I love how cartoon-y things are with all of the attention to details and real world weathering, etc. To me, it helps to sell the illusion that you've stepped into a real cartoon world.

I still wish they had added some trapeze artists to the Souviners tent (and how cute would it be to have some pots with snakes coming up in the Donald area?) but these environments look really great.
