So Iger's annual cost is about $5 million a foot - the monorail is a bargain by comparison!

so no clue about what this area will be? I think this is the first time in quite a while where construction is happening and we have no clue what is going there.

its odd they didn't just include shopping into more of the theatre district plan, or just do this at the same time to have all the construction walls at the same time to avoid the always construction mode they are in

Agree with the latter. I am surprised they didn't build this and open it at the same time as the new FOTLK theater. It's not like the moving of the theater was a surprise and if this new construction is just a path and a new restaurant or merch, it should have been able to have been completed in the same timeframe as the theater I would imagine.

I feel like the consensus is that it will be a secondary path between Africa and Asia (specifically, so you can go from the Safari/Pangani/train station to Asia without passing through the main part of Harambe). It will also feature a counter service restaurant with covered seating and may include some merch.

Actually drove by DAK on the way to dinner last night and I could see the dirt/clearing going on for Pandora. Not much new on that front at least.

Save PI did a DTD update yesterday. The work this thread is about is tricky since you really need aerial photos to see what is going on.
