Save PI did a DTD update yesterday. The work this thread is about is tricky since you really need aerial photos to see what is going on.

I have not seen a single update for the new PI/Marketplace bridge or DTD parking garage in a month anywhere. I am thinking the mouse has sent out notices or something.

But yeah, aerials would be nice. Also aerials of Universal if anyone out there might be flying in the area.

Park Hoppers that they are seemingly trying to lower usage of based on My Magic + decisions?

I assume you're referring to FastPass+ functionality for Park Hoppers?
Are they really trying to lower the usage of them? Or, is it just a gap in the functionality of that that they haven't filled yet or decided how to fill?
Or, are they looking at usage and demand to determine if this it's even needed?

See my photo updates for the construction behind Mombasa Marketplace in Harambe as of Oct 8, 2014 in the thread titled: "Animal Kingdom Tidbits."

insane eyesore!
I have never found Downtown Disney to be that pretty to begin with. At least with Disney Springs, we may end up with enough folliage to mask the garage largely while you are actually in Disney Springs. It'll look ugly from the road, but I think DTD already looks pretty awful from the road. Very different from what you see when you drive by a resort or theme park.

There are parks that have trains crossing guests paths. Cedar Point has three of them. They have a booth with an employee staffed there to raise and lower gates and monitor for safety.

Lot's of parks have this; both BG parks and Dollywood come immediately to mind, as well as several regional amusement parks I've been to. Thinking I've seen these at some Six Flags as well, but the parks kind of mush together in my brain.

Have one station in Africa in DAK and drop us off in the small Africa area in World Showcase. I have no idea if that would work logistically though.
That actually would be a very cool concept; board a train in the "Africa" section of EP and get off it "in" Africa. They could even used the "projection windows" like the HE to create the illusion of crossing Africa (anyone remember the Bullet Train concept for Japan?). Other than the fact they would never do it because of the cost, the difficulty would be in the length of the ride coupled with the time between departures; could become a bottleneck on both ends...
