Phineas and Ferb is a great show. Witty and with a kind heart. I kind of wish the character design was a bit better, but you can't beat the solid stories and likeable characters. Candace is my favorite (not sure why, I just like her). And we need a Perry smiley around here! :drevil:

i've never watched the show myself, but kids seem to love it. the parks are always swamped with perry shirts, and the new perry phineus and ferb dolls all fly off the shelves whenever they're stocked. making them full time meet & greet characters would be great.

Plans are in the works for Phineas, Ferb, and Agent P to replace the Power Rangers at DHS in 2011.

It's about time! The show is so popular and they hardly do anything to advertise in the parks, the most advertising I've seen is guests walking around in t-shirts they bought somewhere else. I just purchased a Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. shirt online, I plan to wear that to the parks on Tuesday and see if I get any reactions:p But please Disney if your reading this....Bring Phineas and Ferb to the parks, forget Duffy I know fans would eat up merchandise if you had it in the parks.

Thanks to Dan Povenmire's work on Family Guy..He did the majority of the Brian & Stewie "Road To Rhode Island, Europe & Rupert" Episodes and the Patriot Games episode that Peter sings Shapoopie from The Music Man. Not only that... Family Guy voice actors have popped up in the series John Viener is the voice of Dr Doofenshmirtz's Robot Norm and in one episode he has Seth Macfarland (humorously renamed Jeff MacGarland in this episode) and has a Brian/Stan voice he's doing...Just Awesome!:sohappy:

So the Power Rangers will only be around 10 years longer than they should have been, great!:brick:

They are already gone, have been since early Aug...

Ironically wasn't Streets of America gonna be a "Tri-State area" with California, Illinois, and New York :ROFLOL: :drevil:

Its about time! Phineas and Ferb is the best thing on Disney Channel and really the only thing on there that adults can enjoy as well as the kids. Now we have the characters next we need DVD box sets of the show. And a Doofenshmirtz character. And a Phineas and Ferb attraction. That's all, we can all be happy with that.

Indeed! Many thanks!

And the show's music isn't half bad either. My fave song is "Gitchy Gitchy Goo Means That I Love You". Great bubblegum music!

Those pics are AWESOME! I so wish I could meet them this year when I go! They'd get the biggest hugs from me :D I'd probably even give Perry a great big kiss on the bill ;)

Too bad that song is a copy off of a Jetson's Episode.

That's kind of a stretch but I can see how that may have been the inspiration for the song.

Phineas and Ferb would be awesome at DHS!! I hope they get them there sooner rather than later. Besides it being great to see them, they really need to get some new characters in the park. The Little Einsteins and Handy Manny are getting pretty stale.

Boy, it says a lot for Playhouse Disney's programming that they really don't have any new shows that warrant in-park characters. Funny that it comes at a time when they're getting ready to spin it off as its own network! My son loves OSO, but it isn't worth it to have to pay for an expensive lunch to go see him.

^^^^ agree, that's not a copycat. Similar, yes. But aren't many of those bubblegum songs similar to one another?

No matter. Keeping fingers tightly crossed for P&F (and Agent P!) in January!!

The stories are quite different. Eep Opp Ork was a complete accident that became a hit. Gitchy Gitchy Goo was specifically created to hit every bubble gum cliche---it was *engineered* to be a hit.

(And, though I love the P&F writers, Eep Opp is probably the better song.)
