The houses are not staying. Absolutely, positevely, without a doubt...they are leaving.

The only art released recently to cast was the one from the closing party the other night.
It does, in fact show the houses....however if you will notice...it is art of Toontown Fair, not Storybook Circus.

I assume that's what jt is thinking he saw, since there is no art showing the houses in Storybook Circus.

One again, Lee to the rescue..

But why do i feel like JT will dispute Lee's post????

I was just trying to find that pic! I think there are others who got it confused for new artwork for Storybook Circus!

I looked at that are yesterday too, and for about 5 seconds I thought I was looking at new concept art of the Circusland area (an area where few details or images have been released). I eventually realized I was looking at old concept art from the 1990's.

I'm sure jt04 and I weren't the only ones who made that mistake, even for just a few moments.

I saw it with my own unblinking eye. Perhaps the site you linked to pulled the artwork.

Well we will just have to agree that we utterly disagree. Problem is if you are wrong (and you are) we are stuck with the results for decades. :hurl:

1. Maybe you should blink every once in a while

2. We are right

Frankly I am still having difficulty telling the two apart. :lookaroun
At least now we can put the rumor that the houses are staying to rest.

Just like all of the stories about the drunk drivers at Pleasure Island being pulled from existence?

I defy you to find any stories dealing with any tragedy on property prior to 1994 or so. Perhaps it truly was a 'magic' kingdom back then and nothing bad ever happened. Unfortunately for you there were bad news stories as would be expected. But oddly they can't be found. At least a large majority can't. So you explain it. Cause I know I am right.

And your inability to let this go only confirms there is truth to it. Because if it was false you would have long since forgotten about it.

All of this over some posters....

And the Orlando Sentinel has archives dating back to 1985.....

Circusland is sound in concept. At this point in the game, we have no reason to believe otherwise. It is now up to Disney to execute. Given what we are seeing in DCA and the rest of FLE, it is most likely that Disney will take the time to do it right. Poor execution, however, has no bearing on the soundness of the concept in this case.

EDIT: By the way, I like your new avatar and signature.

Again we will see. Maybe they will suprise me.

Yeah, can't wait for the film. Especially because it will drive the narrow and closed-minded crazy. Actually it already is. :D

But seriously, we need this type of diverse point of view everywhere. The lack of it is killing innovation and creativity. And we just can't afford that anymore. It will be interesting to see if it is received as a "think piece" or not.

The future is bright if it is allowed to be.

Well, you know, the old location that featured Pete, Pete's Garage, was a face painting location. Maybe this will be like the Barnstormer and just be the same attraction with a retheme. Instead of having your face painted in place of a car, you can make yourself look like one of the freaks in the sideshow!

I'm totally just throwing this out in hopes of getting a new face painting location :p My sis and I loved getting our face painted at Pete's Garage, so I hope they at least put something new to replace it (and NO ONE suggest the Pirates dressup or the Bibbiti Boppity Boutique :brick:).

Fingers crossed for a Side Show dark ride!
:p
I know that'll never happen, but would certainly make Circusland worth building for an actual new ride.

Have no clue what it is, but I'll assume its going into one of the tents.

My bet would be it's just themeing for the area... certainly not an attraction!

Thinking of the concept of sideshows(Fat Lady, Bearded Man, Strong Man, oddities etc..) Could this not be the Meet and greet Tent? If so I wonder if the stick with that theme for the characters? Has potential for some unique character interactions?

* Missed the word Silly, could be same concept though.

this may not be too far off
when Disney had plans to build dumbo's circus in DL they had plans for "Circus Disney" which sounds like silly side show could be, with some re tooling and new/modern characters

The star of Dumbo's Circusland, the circus themed land planned for behind Fantasyland, Circus Disney would have showcased classic Disney stars in their very own unique circus acts. Made possible through a range of animatronics, guests would meet King Louis and Shere Kahn in the wild animal menagerie. Then guests could marvel at "the Amazing Flying Dumbo - Ninth Wonder of the World!", "Horace Horsecollar - the One Man Rubberband!" and "the Reluctant Dragon - Fire Eater!" - all at their own stands. Finally, they would pass through Clown Alley and witness the spectacular finale - the daredevil act "the Flying Goofys".
