Peter Pan's Flight exterior refurbishment

I wouldn't expect more than a paint job, much in the same way as Small World just across the walkway.

The castle wall brickwork is being modified too, to look more like bricks and less like painted rectangles.

Look above IASW and you'll see what I'm talking about.

So it will look like this brick design:

I like that much better than Cinderella Castle's cartoonish brick work.

If I'm thinking about the FLE correctly, only those attractions outside of the castle wall should have the cottage-y thatched roof look. Those inside the wall (such as PPF, IASW,etc.) should retain the more formal castle-y look. No?

Agreed.

Agreed again. More organic outside the castle walls. Although it appears the "west side" might retain the "medieval fair outside the catle walls" backstory. Which works well IMO.

I still think this is close to the original 1960's plan for WDW's FL.

They should, however, a castle look can be obtained without brightly painted metal awnings.

Peter Pan's Flight deserves (and needs) much more than an exterior refurb. Hopefully in the next year it goes down for a much needed rehab and everything is updated.

But for the time being I'll take an exterior rehab. It's better than nothing.

PPF is an embarrassment.

The Anaheim and Paris versions are so much better (oh, but so are most attractions).

I wish PPF would get the interior rehab it deserves. Please give us more 2010, less 1972.

If you are talking about the interior than I prefer the 1972 at least for now. I love the attraction, it is one of my favs. I minor update would be fine but I love the classic look of it.
