It was created for magic kingdom. Years before epcot. I think it fits, and I'm not a fan of the ride at all.
I do think cop would be better suited in epcot.

Agreed, so what we know is that there is a permit to start working, and that it could Be changes, but I think that it is just for the queue right, not the ride?

The best thing to happen to the Peter Pan queue is the same best thing that happened to all the rides - FP+.
If you want to go on Peter, or any ride tomorrow, get an FP+ today. For those who don't - Hopefully the bathroom-into-queue line will happen.

They are constantly doing things to IASW I see permits for it all the time.

I am not a IASW fan...but I do love that when I am on it...it's the same attraction my grandma knew and loved...So I would say...don't touch it...other than maintenance...it is one of those classics!
Looking back at my permit list they actually haven't been many permits recently, but there was a period from mid 2012 to early 2013 that there were a bunch of permits for it. They may have been small things that didn't require the closing of the ride.
