My guess is that they are selectively trimming planters to shave off feet or even inches to accommodate extended queue. The sad reality is that shaving off a foot or two here and there could effectively add hundreds of square feet of queue. This is pure conjecture on my part, but it's my best guess. The more they can lay out straight lines makes it easier to put up and take down throughout the day.

I remember Joe Rhode said that they were going to put burn lines around Mission Breakout to make it appear as if it just materialized out of nowhere, maybe it could be that?
