TSL is counterproggaming to SWL. Attractions more friendly for younger families who won't be able to experience SWL rides. Alien Saucers is perfect in the role it has been cast.

Yep...

It’s less Interesting to ride than dumbo...

And what’s your take on that 5 year olds can’t really enjoy slinky dog or midway Mania?

And neither the new rides have any capacity at all?

It was a punt...period...don’t defend the shield. There are other more interesting options for the younger set that could have gone in...they coulda bought one from sesame

I think crowd surveys might contradict your conclusions.

Posted in a Universal thread but I checked out pricing for next year coming from the UK and I’ve never seen it so cheap. In May, for 17 nights including flights we could stay on I drive for less than $1000 a person (2 people). Disney and Universal hotels much cheaper too than usual....makes me want to sack off the weeks trip to Greece that cost the same price! No wonder Disneyland Paris struggles...not much more expensive going to a Florida for 3 times the length of time
Absolutely true, 9 of us are coming over at easter 2019, staying at port orleans resort for 14 nights for less than the cost to travel to france and 10 nights at disneyland paris resort. Crazy

What do you think the wait time for AS2 will be in 10 years? Think it holds up like TSMM, who at age 10 is drawing more than a brand new ride?
And to you, building barnstormer in 2018 for a park with 7 rides (10 when SWGE and Mickey opens), was a good move?

Mgm never had...nor still doesn’t...enough attractions.

One common mistake is equating the line with the quality of the attractions.

When you have too many people, limited options, and prebooked ride reservations...it does not

Unsure if this has been said but, Magic kingdom was gonna close most of Jan-March around 6pm without happily ever after, The time has been changed to 8pm closing with happily ever after at 8pm

Everytime I see the lack of rides at HS currently it makes me sad. There's 7 rides? Divided by ~50k people? It's a wonder they aren't all over 100 mins (except for Muppets)

ETA: And how does the 10 year old ride out draw the 5 month old ride?
6*

That could have been a preliminary calendar...magic closed at six like...never. Especially not March.

They are probably working on their upsell menu - to be honest.

Indeed. This is the time of year when everyone panics because on the 2019 calendar there is no fireworks scheduled and no EMHs and everyone runs around with their hair on fire claiming EMHs and fireworks and parades are being done away with.

The WDW calendar is notorious for its inaccuracies more than a month out.

Talk about "softness".... Right about Oct 10, to a good two weeks out? If one is not flying? It's going to be "Cancel City" for East Coast Folks :(.

Nothing WDW did... it's the Highway devastation that will occur AGAIN due to Hurricane Michael :(.
