So the old saying, "Kids should be seen and not heard"?
Not seen and not heard.
I don't think we've ever seen Constance's kids facing the camera. So the old saying, "Kids should be seen and not heard"?
I'll wait for streaming. The first movie was great fun, but--I gotta say--putting the baby in mortal peril at the end was a bit cheap.I think the first Incredibles movies was excellent. That movie just really understood family relationships/tensions.
I don't think this new movie will be able to hold a candle to the first, but I'll see it anyway.

Wait, the Incredibles is a cartoon???You do realize he’s a cartoon baby with super powers, ya?

Um, (sigh), yes, dweezil78, I realize that. I respect Brad Bird. But I still think putting a baby in peril in any film, live or animated, is about as cheap a shot for developing tension as you can get. And this is coming from someone who can't stand JakandDaxter or whatever his stupid name is.You do realize he’s a cartoon baby with super powers, ya?
Ah, a Milford man.Not seen and not heard.
The Incredibles was groundbreaking on a couple of levels (besides just being a fun, clever film). It was the first CGI film to depict human characters that well on that scale. Also, remember, at the time it was the best superhero movie of any kind since the first two Christopher Reeve Superman films. It attracted a wide audience and got a lot of repeat business. It was like nothing anyone had seen before.I am sort of surprised at the incredibly (no pun intended) eager and excited reaction the general 20-something fanbase has had to this movie coming out. I mean I thought the original was fine but I don't recall it being Frozen level popular and it's not a classic by any stretch of the imagination.

Yes, except not seen either.
So the new Constance saying, "Kids should never be seen or heard, unless you call them for a perfect picture".
I'd never photograph a child that wasn't mine.
Maybe something like, ""Kids should never be seen or heard, unless they have Constance's genes".
Thinking ahead to grandkids.
Well the assumption with that quote was they were your kids that were being called for the picture. But hey good clarification....
Grandkids, soon?
